What you can expect

  • After picking up guests from their hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter Area, we will explore the highlights and hidden gems of Hanoi’s Old Quarter on this private guided walking tour. Highlights: Visit the historic Long Bien Bridge and the bustling Dong Xuan Market. See the famous “Train Street,” St. Joseph's Cathedral, and much more. Along the way, learn about Hanoi’s history, culture, and food from your local guide.
We will visit and take photos of St. Joseph's Cathedral, a Catholic church on Nhà Chung Street in the Hoàn Kiếm District of Hanoi, Vietnam. It is a late 19th-century Gothic Revival church that serves as the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hanoi. The cathedral is named after Joseph, the patron saint of Vietnam.
Ta Hien Street is also called the Beer Street. This street is full of bars and restaurants and hundreds of people sit outside on the street in tiny plastic chairs and tables.
Long Biên Bridge is a historic cantilever bridge across the Red River that connects two districts, Hoan Kiem and Long Bien of the city of Hanoi, Vietnam. Long Bien Bridge is one of the most famous bridges in Hanoi. It has experienced so much devastation, yet, it is still standing over the Red River as a precious symbol representing the painful history of Hanoi.
Visit Dong Xuan Market, which is located on the northern edge of Hanoi Old Quarters (about 2 kilometres from Hoan Kiem Lake). Đồng Xuân Market (Springfield Market) is the largest covered market of Hanoi where the wholesale traders would offer you a wide range of goods such as fresh produce, souvenirs, accessories and clothing, electronic and household appliances and foodstuffs, etc.
Hanoi Train Street is a unique and popular attraction located in the heart of the city. The train tracks were built more than a hundred years ago, and the street has become a popular tourist destination in recent years. Visitors come to take photos, enjoy coffee or tea and experience the bustling energy of the area. After Train Street, our guide will guide you back to your hotel or accommodation in the Old Quarter. Say goodbye to our guide.
