Either we stop at a traditional, family-run mountain village (such as Elos) nestled among chestnut trees, to taste the famous lamb, handmade kalitsounia, and dishes made with ingredients straight from the family's farm. Or, if you prefer a more cosmopolitan experience, we can head earlier towards Chania's Old Town, giving you extra time to dine at a local restaurant right by the Venetian Harbour. In either case, your driver will recommend the best non-touristy spots to experience authentic Cretan food accompanied by local wine or raki.

The conclusion of your day belongs entirely to you. On our return journey, we will stop for 1 to 1.5 hours in one of West Crete’s historic cities. You can choose Chania, to wander through the romantic Venetian alleys and see the iconic Venetian Lighthouse as the afternoon light softens. Alternatively, you can choose Rethymno, featuring its medieval Fortezza and charming harbour. If you have discovered another spot that piques your interest, your driver is there to take you.
