Your adventure starts at our favourite bit of coast in Lydstep, a 10-minute drive from Tenby on the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. After a welcome briefing, your guide will kit you out in a specialist coasteering wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet, then lead you down to the sea at Lydstep Point. From there you'll travel along the coastline the adventurous way: swimming across rocky coves, scrambling over wave-washed ledges, riding the swell through natural gullies (the swirly bits!), and exploring sea caves - including a swim-through cave once used by smugglers. Along the way your guide will show you how to move safely through the water and point out wildlife and hidden corners of the coast you simply can't reach on foot. Then there are the cliff jumps. We build up gradually, starting with small ledges and working up to bigger leaps for those who want them - every jump is completely optional, and our guides are just as happy coaching nervous first-timers as thrill-seekers. After around two hours in and around the sea, we head back to base, peel off the wetsuits and swap stories.
