What you can expect

  • As seen on NHK. Skip the tourist traps and see Namba's real backstreet food scene with a long-time Osaka local.

Here's how it works: we start the night with a cold drink and fresh tako-sen (octopus crackers), on us. From there your guide takes you through 3–4 backalley izakayas and stalls most tourists never find. No fixed menu, no set group price — you just pay real local prices for whatever you actually want to eat.

Tell your guide what you're into, from classic takoyaki and kushikatsu to dishes most menus won't have in English, and the route adjusts to fit you. Your guide bridges the language gap so you can focus on the food and talking with the owners.

    Highlights:
・Tiny 6-seat spots with no English menus
    ・Capped at 8 guests
・Great if you just landed and want to dive in tonight
・Travellers who want Osaka as it actually is, not the postcard version
