Visit to Fazenda Concórdia, a historic centenary coffee farm located about 80 km from São Paulo.
The tour has a historical and cultural focus, rather than an agricultural one, ideal for those who want to understand the roots of the São Paulo countryside and the development of the state with the arrival of coffee and immigrants.
The guided visit includes historic buildings, including the former slave quarters, which tell the storey of coffee and its importance to the state’s growth. You’ll also visit the casa grande, the main house where the coffee barons once lived, offering a glimpse into that period. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a traditional rural coffee, featuring homemade cakes, the famous Brazilian cheese bread, jams, and fresh fruits.
During the tour, you’ll also have the chance to learn about the production of cachaça, a traditional Brazilian spirit made from sugarcane, produced in a traditional alambique (copper still). And of course, you’ll be able to taste it as well.
The experience ends with a typical farm-style lunch, served in a rustic and welcoming setting.
An authentic experience for those who appreciate history, culture, and the slow pace of the countryside.
Simplicity and beauty in what is rustic and genuine.
