The Grand Egyptian Museum is the largest museum of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world. Located a few miles west of Cairo, it boasts a direct view of the Giza Pyramids. The museum houses over 100,000 artefacts, including the entire treasures of King Tutankhamun, such as his golden mask, sarcophagus, and sceptre, as well as artefacts from the Greco-Roman period discovered in Egypt. In addition to commercial and entertainment facilities, a restoration centre, and a museum garden, it is designed to accommodate 5 million visitors annually.

The statue also features a long tail wrapped around its right foot.
