Located in the heart of the Civic District, the Gallery occupies two iconic national monuments, the former City Hall and Supreme Court, which have been meticulously restored and transformed into a 64,000-square-metre cultural venue. Emphasising Singapore’s rich heritage and strategic location, the Gallery aspires to be a dynamic museum that fosters creative and inclusive dialogues between Singaporean, Southeast Asian, and global art. Through collaborative research, education, exhibitions, and innovative programming, it works with renowned international museums such as Centre Pompidou, Musée d'Orsay, Tate Britain, MOMAT, and MMCA to present Southeast Asian art on the world stage, positioning Singapore as a central hub in the global visual arts scene.
