Fukuoka & Itoshima Day Tour Itinerary

Meeting Point:
08:50 AM – Meet at Lawson Hakata Station Chikushiguchi Store (in front of Chikushiguchi Exit, next to Oriental Hotel Fukuoka). Look for the yellow GOGODAY flag.

Departure:
08:30 AM – Bus departs on time. No waiting for latecomers.

Itinerary Highlights:

  • 10:00–10:30 Shiraito Falls (30 min) – Scenic waterfall in Itoshima.
    Closed Dec 28, 29, 31 & Jan 2, 4, 5 – replaced with Angel Wings.

  • 11:00–11:40 Raizan Sennyoji Temple (40 min) – Historic site with a 400-year-old maple tree.
    Admission: Adults ¥400 (¥300 for groups 20+), children free.

  • 12:10–13:30 Ichiran no Mori (80 min) – Visit the only Ichiran Ramen Factory.
    Optional lunch (cost not included).

  • 13:50–14:30 Totoro Forest & Keya no Oto Sea Cave (40 min) – Nature and coastal scenery.

  • 14:50–15:20 Sakurai Futamigaura (30 min) – Famous for “married rocks” and white torii gate.

  • 16:00–17:10 Fukuoka Tower & Seaside Park (70 min) – Great views and relaxing stroll.

What you can expect

Join us for a full-day guided tour exploring the natural beauty and cultural gems of Fukuoka and Itoshima. Please meet at 08:50 in front of the Lawson Hakata Station Chikushiguchi Store at Oriental Hotel Fukuoka (4-23 Hakataekichuogai, Hakata Ward), and look for the GOGODAY small yellow flag. We depart promptly at 08:30, so please arrive early as we cannot wait for latecomers. Highlights include a visit to Shiraito Falls (note: closed on Dec 28, 29, 31 and Jan 2, 4, 5—will visit Angel Wings instead), the peaceful Raizan Sennyoji Daihioin Temple (admission: 400 yen for adults, children free), and the one-of-a-kind Ichiran no Mori Ramen Factory, where you can enjoy an optional ramen lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a stroll through the magical Totoro Forest and witness the natural wonder of Keya no Oto sea cave, followed by a visit to Sakurai Futamigaura Meoto Iwa, a famous sacred site with a picturesque white torii gate. The tour concludes with stunning panoramic views from Fukuoka Tower (admission not included) and a relaxing walk in Seaside Park, before returning to Hakata Station by 17:30.
