Spend a day discovering the beautiful countryside and villages, the “Castelli Romani”, just a short distance away from the city of Rome.
Your experience will start from your hotel where you’ll be picked-up with by an air-conditioned van; riding along the Via Appia Antica, you’ll get to admire the gorgeous countryside and historic villages such as Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer residence. Here, you’ll stop to visit a winery where you’ll enjoy have a tasting of four types of the area’s finest wines, accompanied by local products. The tour continues on the shore of Lake Albano to taste the famous porchetta (pork roast) and the local wine Romanella, as well as other delicious regional products. Your last stop will be the village of Nemi, known for its Strawberry Festival that takes place the first weekend in June, and for its lake which immerses the town in a unique magical atmosphere.
