Overview

We start our tour by transferring you from Nafplion to Olympia.

Our first stop is a visit to the ancient stadium where the Olympic Games took place. Here, we will also explore the sanctuary of Zeus, which housed one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, a 13.5 metre golden statue of the god, made by Phidias.

Continuing on our tour, we will then visit the archaeological museum, where we will see outstanding findings of over 400 exhibits and see the amazing Hermes of Praxiteles. We will walk through the beautiful surrounding areas with beautiful buildings and temples that depict the beauty, harmony and balance of ancient Greek art.

At the end of the tour, we will have free time to enjoy a coffee or a meal at the nearby local cafes and restaurants. Our tour finishes with our return transfer to Nafplion.
