Great service. The staff is super friendly

We stayed in August 2024 for my birthday. This was our 5th or 6th trip and unfortunately we will probably not return. Resort has stopped focusing on couples and has starting promoting large groups to book rooms. The resort isn't set up for this. Dining is delayed, staff is stressed (not enough of them to serve large groups plus other guests), more buffets than before, loud groups partying until late into the night/morning takes away from the chill, relaxing, quiet vibe the resort used to have. Staff and taxi drivers indicate the new manager (might not still be there 1.5 years later, maybe so) was running the resort into the ground for personal profit. We came here for our honeymoon in 2016 and loved it and went back several times. The last trip was so bad and noisy we were ready to leave early since the other people in our building thought nothing of blaring their music and talking on the phone until 3 and 4am in the common areas between rooms. The way the buildings are set up in this resort you walk into a common area and all the rooms in the building come off the common area. The problem is the rooms are very insulated between the rooms but not around the doors. Also because of the large open ceilings, stuff in the common areas echo. As the group was very large (probably 30 plus adults), our concerns were pretty much dismissed since they had rented out about 1/3 of the resort. The wait staff and kitchen staff and bar staff did the best they could.

My husband and I take trips to the Caribbean once a year. We typically don't consider going to the same place twice. However, our stay at the Blue Diamond has made us rethink that decision. The customer service, facility, and food were amazing. The food always tasted so fresh and the Mexican dishes were particularly fantastic. Our experience is definitely a memory we won't soon forget. This was hands down one of our best travel experiences.

All of the staff were very warm and welcoming. Even when you’re passing in the halls they all greet you saying hola. The best and kindest staff ever and I truly mean ALL of the staff! Everything was clean and thorough the app was a great way to figure things out.

First time in Cabo. We usually head to Cancun. First glance of the resort was very nice. Staff was always cleaning. Check in/front desk staff is no very friendly or informative. They did not explain how their all inclusive worked there. Every item on the menu had pricing but you don’t pay anything and have to scan your bracelet after every single food or beverage encounter. Didn’t know this until our first restaurant experience. Antonio in Siempre was extremely helpful. There were only 3 restaurants on site. It’s advertised with more but it’s at sister resorts where you have to take a shuttle. Not user friendly. Food was fantastic at every restaurant especially pescados. Rooms were decent. We’ve stayed at nicer resorts. Pool was very hot. Pool bar closes at 5. Martin at the pool was wonderful! Overall, it was about a 7/10 for us. There’s nightly taxes front desk did not tell us about. Except he pointed at a small sign (there’s 9 signs on the counter). Also. If you like the beach and ocean, don’t book here. You’ll get yelled at by a lifeguard as we are not allowed to even touch the water.
