The accommodation
Hiking, spa treatments, cycling, surfing, swimming—the Baltic Sea spa town of Zingst offers attractive recreational opportunities in every season.
Our vacation rental (first floor) in an apartment building at Friedenstraße 49 was completely renovated in February 2019. The apartment is accessed via a separate entrance, and the parking space assigned to the apartment (No. 1) is located directly across from the front door.
The apartment features two bedrooms, a living-dining-kitchen area, a bathroom with a shower, and a storage closet, and is designed to accommodate up to 5 people.
Bedroom 1 is a classic bedroom furnished with a solid-wood double bed and a three-door oak wardrobe. Bedroom 2 features solid beech beds with a total of 3 sleeping spots: a double bunk bed and a single bed (sleeping surface dimensions: 0.90 x 2.00 m each). All beds are suitable for adults (weight capacity up to 130 kg). Each bed has its own reading lamp and a storage pouch for books, reading glasses, etc. A solid beech wardrobe completes the room’s furnishings.
All sleeping areas are equipped with pillows and a so-called “four-season” blanket. The two-layer (buttoned) blanket keeps you nice and warm in winter and can be used as a single layer in spring and summer.
The bedrooms are finished with oak laminate flooring; all other rooms are tiled.
The living-dining area is fully furnished with solid beech wood furniture. The living area features a modern TV and a radio/CD player. A small selection of board games is stored in the tall cabinet. The dining set includes an upholstered bench with a backrest, which is not visible in the photos.
The kitchen is functionally equipped and features a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with a separate, large freezer compartment, microwave, a (filter) coffee maker, a “Bodum” coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and the usual kitchen utensils. A small selection of spices (salt, pepper, basil, oregano, thyme, etc.) is provided.
The storage closet in the apartment contains a high chair, cushions for the patio furniture, a clothes drying rack, basic cleaning supplies, as well as a small supply of dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, and paper towels.
All windows can be darkened with exterior blinds; the bedrooms also have insect screens.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.
In the garden area, the terrace (16 square meters, west-facing, with sunshade) invites you to relax. The apartment also includes a shed (No. 1). It contains the patio furniture, the grill, and a children’s handcart for shopping and beach trips. Space for storing bicycles is also available. Within walking distance for daily needs are: an Edeka supermarket, bakeries, various shops, a pharmacy, as well as restaurants and cafés. There is a Netto supermarket approximately 2 km away.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment. Pets are not allowed, as the owner’s family is allergic to pet dander.
