Enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer from your home base in this spacious Zephyr Cove Spacious studio Unit with a King bed and a Bunk bed with a full at the bottom and twin at the top. Only 3 miles to Stateline, 5.5 miles to heavenly, one mile to Zephyr Cove beach day use area, across from Zephyr Point, and 21 miles from Incline Village this location is central to everything. This unit is conveniently located right off the 395, there can be some road noise. This Studio unit comes with one reserved parking space, with the ability to have additional spaces upon request. High speed WiFi, fully furnished, just bring your close and enjoy one of the most beautiful lake/mountain areas in the world! Located conveniently right off Highway 50 resulting in some road noise, please make right turns only when exiting and exercise caution when turning onto highway 50\. Easy self check-in with a key pad. There's a door from the exterior that enters to a common hallway while it has a key pad it doesn't lock, unit A entry is to the left. In Tahoe, there is a possibility of hazardous road conditions in the winter and air quality issues in the summer due to fires, if either of these are a concern for you please obtain travel insurance. The owner depends on the income to sustain this property and it is not sustainable if the cancellation policy is not honored by guests. No exceptions will be made to the cancellation policy. You will receive details on travel insurance or you can look into it prior to booking, many guests have used Rental Guardian. During the winter please come prepared for snow and ice conditions, we recommend winter tools including but not limited to chains, ice scrapers, a shovel, and a winter emergency kit is recommended in case you and your vehicle get stranded. Pets are approved on a case by case basis and approval is not guaranteed. No cats. Additional pet fees and cleaning fee may apply. Kindly inform let us know if you would be bringing a pet, as well as any information that'll be of help and we will let you know of the additional fees if applicable. The worst part is the noise from Highway 50 which doesn’t really let up. Do not bring dogs or small children here. When first reviewing the general location on VRBO it seemed it would be within an ideal neighborhood for dogs and quiet stay in Tahoe. Nope. Right on a very busy highway that can be heard easily all the time in the property. Had I known a precise location I would not have booked this! By design… Basic cleanliness was ok, surfaces, bedding and towels, but a closer look reveals filth on base boards, cabinetry, door frames, etc. But wait…NO hot water! None! Called when we figured this out during first round of showers and were responded to quickly but just that they had called handyman and plumber. That was it. Never fixed, no follow up. For the overall cost of $800+ with cleaning and dog deposit etc. it was a TERRIBLE value. ##### Mike M. So with that being said, I must provide my honest experience with this property. #1: the location sucks, it is on an extremely dangerous corner of a very busy highway and the unit is located directly on this highway (no side street). It is challenging to pull in + out. #2: This is the dirtiest place I've ever rented. The dishes were still dirty in the cabinets, there was dog hair on the floor + bedding (makes you wonder if it was even really cleaned). Sadly I peaked under the bed and it was full of dust, dirt and just yuck. There were cobwebs on ceiling in bathroom. I honestly was shocked. #3: Kitchen appliances etc. were limited. There was not even a single skillet to cook with. I had to go purchase one at the store and took it home with me. #4\. There was construction going on in nearby units, not so appealing. ----- And for those reasons, perhaps along with some others, we will NEVER stay here again NOR would I advise it to be rented until it has been fixed up a bit.
