Very good location to explore the wonderful city of York, minutes away from Micklegate Bar. Bruberrie café directly over the road is the perfect breakfast spot, we sampled every morning of our stay. And Valentino's also across the road, is a lovely Italian restaurant for our last evening meal.

We actually upgraded to the Balcony room. Was a great size and felt like a little apartment. Would consider this sort of hotel in future as it’s very handy having a decent fridge and being able to make your own breakfast. Also having the little lounge area to sit in.
