Nice hotel with friendly staff. This was our second stay, it is very close to family, Park and ride and York itself. The hotel is clean and we had lovely breakfasts. Would recommend.

Country hotel with plenty of outdoor seating in pleasant garden. Very clean and staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was good. Our room was nice and quiet with comfy bed. Plenty of parking. We used the hotel as a base to explore villages and towns. Will be quite happy to stay there again.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the meals we had were lovely. It was busy on the Saturday evening and just one bar man on meant he was rushing between the bar and restaurant, he could have done with extra staff to help him. The toilet was difficult to flush and the extractor fan didn't work. We still enjoyed our stay.

The room had pockets of that sour sweat smell. As my sniffer is off the hook, it bugged me. It didn't bother my husband at all. The bed smelled fresh, the towels were great, just that one weird spot. The grounds are beautiful.

Lovely hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Although the hotel is located outside the city, it’s only about an 18-minute drive to the city centre, so it’s still very convenient. Highly recommended!
