  • This delightful apartment is nestled within a Grade II listed building that has been thoughtfully renovated, maintaining the charm and integrity of its original features.
    As the birthplace of Joseph Rowntree, the building is enriched with vintage photographs and artifacts that provide a fascinating glimpse into its history.
    Perfectly located just across from 'The Shambles,' you're right in the heart of the city's attractions, yet the apartment offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, providing a serene atmosphere away from street noise.
    The apartment itself is located on the third floor of the building. The hallway leads into a kitchen, lounge, and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences you'd expect, including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, and washer/dryer. A dining table seats up to four for meals.
    The lounge is partially separated off by a partition wall features a sofa that converts into a bed, ideal for accommodating an extra guest if needed.
    The master bedroom is tastefully designed with a double bed, a wardrobe, and bedside tables for added convenience. The spacious bathroom boasts a freestanding, walk-in shower and a separate bath.
    While there is no parking at the apartment itself, paid parking is available just a few minutes' walk away. Please enquire for details.

Glorious Rooftop Views

A lovely place to stay in York with amazing rooftop views, and so convenient being based in the city centre. Everything you could possibly need in the apartment as well. Loved my stay here and will definitely be returning again!

Such an amazing location, and for being so central we weren't disturbed in our sleep at all! The view of the church tower from the bath was a real bonus. When we stayed we did have a wee issue with the blinds not all responding to the controller, and when we folded the sofa-bed out it was clear it hadn't been hoovered as thoroughly as it could have been BUT overall we really enjoyed our stay and loved being so close to all the fun things York has to offer!

This flat has a great location centre of York Flat was decorated to high standard Only faults was all the stairs to climb 70 steps to this flat. The lane it was situated on attracted homeless people who sat on the door step daily The television reception was very bad it flickered constantly

Great stay in York

Lovely apartment woth everything you need except a big enough bed for 2 The bed are really too, too small for 2 adults. Recommend to have that changed. I can only recommend booking this aparment if the bed are changed. The tv was also broken with a flimmering steipe across the screen. Other than that, I cannot come up with anything negative.

GREAT LOCATION. This is a beautifully renovated apartment directly across from the Shambles. It was tastefully done with a nod to the past. Very clean and well stocked. Check in and check out were easy. The management team was very responsive. We would love to stay there anytime we may be back in York.
