In July I lost my 200$ in a similar incident and never got paid back. Staff was supper friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to check out at 3 pm free of charge as our flight departed at 5:30 pm. There was a welcome drink as well as a farewell drink. Breakfast was a la carte with plenty of choices and you can order and eat as much as you can. The breakfast quality was very good too. Download Grab Taxi app before you leave home. Rooms are quirky and live up to their name. Staff are great and try hard. The restaurant let’s it down a bit, it is trying so hard to be a ‘Fine Dining’ Restaurant, however the prices keep out of the locals and it is probably not big enough for large corporations to use. I think most people eat there the first night then venture out into the surrounding area thereafter. That said it is a nice restaurant with a pleasing ambience. It really should be doing well and the staff do their utmost .The breakfast, which is all cooked to order which is good but they must sort out the basics - toast should be done in a toaster not a dry frying pan! They have a small garden out back and an attached resto with yummy food. This is a small new boutique hotel with quirky interior design. Due to the current Rohingya crisis, there are few tourists and I fear for the hotel’s viability. The staff are excellent and arranged private airport transfers.
