It is newly renovated, but it's still a motel. No elevators. No coffee or water in the lobby. A covered corridor connects the lobby and the motel for the rooms. The room looks new with new furniture, touch lights, powerful shower... But it's so small especially the bathroom which makes it feel so crowded. This is what renovations can't change. Breakfast is mediocre. If you go there late, barely anything is left. The breakfast area is shut after breakfast time is done. I wouldn't have any complaints if the rate could be lower to match the motel.

Floors were dirty. Room had a stale smell about it. Shower door, counters, and toilet bowl not properly wiped down. No evidence suggesting disinfectant had been used anywhere in that room. Drywall dust lingering on towel rack that hadn’t been wiped off after the renovation. Thin sheets, hard pillows, enormous window letting in all the light from the parking lot. Prehistoric sounding heater.

I was very pleased with my stay at Quality Inn. I travel with a dog so having an outside entrance to my room was great. The hotel was remodeled so it had a new feeling to it. Breakfast was minimal so that could be improved but the coffee was really good.

The room felt very small and cramped. Maybe it just had too much extra furniture but there was not really space for 2 adults and 2 children to all comfortably move about the room. I was expecting a deluxe room to feel more spacious than a standard room but there was not a clear description of the difference. The floor while I’m sure is easy to clean also got dirty easily and showed every dirty foot/paw print would be nice to have like a little door mat or area rug to try to help keep shoes off floor to help keep it cleaner. Staff was friendly and polite. Check-in/check-out was simple.

Got in late and my original room had an issue with the toilet constantly running. Front desk told me to try to fix it myself but once I explained it was the valve then they switched me to a different room. Could tell rooms were recently updated. Updated so recently that there was still drywall dust on the black fixtures in the bathroom. Very much a “get what you pay for” place. Wouldn’t stay here for an extended period of time but it’s fine for one night if you’re just looking for a place to rest your head for a few hours.

For the location (most of the food and gas options are on the other side of Wytheville, but Wytheville isn't that big) and price, this recently renovated Quality Inn was a decent stay. Not a lot of amenities, but the room was in good condition. Only issue is that breakfast is from 6:00-9:00, but the coffee was cleaned out well before 8:00, and there didn't appear to be much staff to remedy that!

This hotel is practically new! It has had a total renovation--new beds, bedding, flooring, curtains, sink, toilet, shower, faucets, reception etc etc. There is also a very good free breakfast, with many choices. And the price is excellent. Highly recommend.

The lady that checked us in acted as if we were intruding on her time. When we walked into our room it was quite cold We tried the heater it would run for a few minutes then it would just shut down. We could not use the TV as it kept asking for a wifi password which could not be input. We called the front desk and the same lady told us someone would come and fix the issues. Nobody ever showed. To add insult to injuries I ended up with bites on my lower leg and feet. Could it have been fleas? Possibly? Who knows. I do not recommend this place. Stay at your own peril

I was in my room for all of 5 minutes and I saw the previous guests’ takeout containers, urine in the shower, mouse poo on our bed, and then the actual mouse himself scurried across the room. I have never been in and out of a hotel so fast.
