It is a good hostel for a low budget There is no luxury but if you look for safety cleanliness and location I would recommend this hostel and the friendly staff is a bonus

THIS PROPERTY NO LONGER EXISTS!! I booked this property a month before visiting and when I showed up to the location, was told Royal Hostel had been closed for over a year. However it took my money (was unable to be refunded through Expedia) and is still available to book on many websites, so likely a scam. Caveat is the Moon Hostel (which took over the location but different management) was fantastic. The rooms were great and in a convenient location. The front desk staff was helpful and understanding.
