  • The first floor newly constructed ground suite features a large modern space with queen bed, full bath, separate living space with 60" smart TV and queen sleeper sofa, kitchenette area with Keurig, microwave, mini fridge, and full washer/dryer on this floor. Outside the patio is a seating area with gas grill and an outdoor shower to rinse off after relaxing beach days!

    Going up to the main floor, there is an open floor place with a large kitchen featuring granite counter tops, gas stove, and large island with 4 bar stools where you can enjoy coffee made by the French press, Keurig, or regular coffee maker supplied. A large dining table is perfect for gatherings with a separate small children's table nearby! Living room features another queen memory foam sleeper sofa with sliding doors that goes out onto a large covered deck with large patio dining table. This floor has a bedroom with queen bed, 40” smart TV, and full bath. Note- gas fireplace is turned off.

    The third floor features a stunning master bedroom with king bed, 43" smart TV, and en-suite with dual sinks and walk-in shower. Off the master suite is another large covered deck offering ocean glimpses! Another bedroom offers 2 twin beds and shares a full bath with another large bedroom. This bedroom has a 40" smart TV with 1 queen bed, twin/twin bunk beds, and plenty more space! Washer & dryer available for your use on this floor as well!

    This property is perfect for families and children, offers a pack n' play, portable high chair, children's table, and many games. Located minutes drive from the NC aquarium at Fort Fisher and Carolina Beach restaurants/shops/activities! Also includes some beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, gas grill and small charcoal grill for your pleasure. Parking available for 4, including 1 garage space. Need something else? Just ask us, we are not far away! You have access to the entire side of the townhouse except 2 owner's closets.

    Memorial Day through Labor Day - 7 night stay Sunday to Sunday, consider less amounts closer to date if not booked.
    Remainder of the year- 3 night minimum stay

Fantastic Family Beach House!

Clean house with plenty of space for everyone. Close to the beach and in a quiet part of Kure Beach. Perfect for a a low key family trip with kids. Big open kitchen & living room for gathering so that everyone can hang out together. We loved our stay!

June 2025 Stay

Our family loved the house! It was a perfect stay for the adults and the kids. The house is very modern and clean, plenty of space and amenities. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the beach chairs provided. The location is perfect, not too busy and very quiet neighborhood. Thanks Hayley for a great stay!

Great house in a perfect location.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Kure Beach. The house had all of the amenities we needed, was modern and clean. With only a 2 block walk to the beach and a wagon supplied, it made our week super easy and relaxing.

Family Beach Werk

Very clean, nicely furnished and plenty of seating for the family. Exceptionally nice outdoor furniture on both decks. Short walk to a good beach and life guard tower. Well stocked kitchen and several little extras like starter coffee and huge pantry. This was our second visit to Kure Vida and we will be back.

My family of 9 plus a baby had the best experience in this beautiful home! The pictures don’t do the property any justice because this house is truly a beauty! Everything is clean and Hayley has more than enough cleaning supplies/games and basically everything you would need for a wonderful stay! This was my first time traveling with an infant and it was great that their is a playpen and high chair! We will definitely be booking again this summer :)

Great Location and Plenty of Space

The house is in a great location with close proximity to 2 beach access points. The house also provided plenty of space for the 12 of us. Having 2 washer and dryers was also helpful for our crew. Overall the house was clean upon arrival except for a few areas- and a terrible smell of shrimp on the 2nd floor/kitchen area that eventually went away after a few days (we think the previous renters cooked a shrimp boil the night before we arrived- unfortunate timing). The oven racks still do not fit the oven (see another's review) which made it challenging to bake my birthday cake, but this has been mentioned to the owner and they are trying to address this concern. The house stayed nice and cool during the Extreme Heat wave during our rental week. Overall we had a great stay and would consider coming back next year!

Disappointed, but the location was great!

The location of this home is truly exceptional—an easy 10 out of 10. However, the property’s overall maintenance left much to be desired. The oven racks didn’t fit properly, creating a safety issue when heated and making it extremely difficult to prepare meals for our group. I wouldn’t have booked this home had I known. The host was initially friendly and communicative, apologizing and offering to send maintenance, but the racks couldn’t be adjusted. She said she’d purchased three sets, none of which fit. Communication ceased after the issue was raised, and no discount or goodwill gesture was offered.Other problems included two of three grill burners working, stained stool and chair covers, dirty shower curtains (1 rusted & torn), interior is in clear need of a fresh coat of paint, especially the handrail, command strips where décor had been removed, and outdated kitchen cookware. Also, in the check out instructions, it's asked for guest to clean all sand, though the garage floor and toys were sandy upon arrival.While this is clearly a family beach home, it isn’t ready for rental. With care, it could be lovely, but in its current state, it doesn’t meet expectations. Future guests should confirm kitchen functionality, and the oven issue should be disclosed in the listing.

Great Birthday weekend. We celebrated my mom's 70th. This house was able to accommodate 12 people comfortably. It was just as listed on the website. The decorations were very coastal chic. The place sat about 4 minute walk from the beach. There are no beach views, but we knew that going in. Each level has an outdoor space. You are slightly close to neighbors, but its the beach and everyone is close. The owners did not forget anything, the house had everything you need for a staycation. The beach chairs were an added bonus!! The place was clean and they provided towels and sheets. There was enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy the home. The kitchen is a great meeting space in the home. The table was large enough to fit about 8 people. Plus tge large island we great for serving and eating. I love that there were cleaning supplies to kerp the kitchen and bathrooms clean. There was enough parking for 4 cars in the drive way. I appreciate how readily tge owners were to answered questions and providing feedback. This home is a great home away ftom and i would definitely stay again.

Unforgettable weekend!

Staying at Kura Vida was an absolute dream! It was such a hit with all of our guests! The property was spotless and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend! Parking was not an issue as just a block away is an entire street with paid parking. The parking is only paid until 5 PM, so we didn't have issues finding spots. The location is ideal, as everyone was able to come and go as they pleased, enjoying everything Kure has to offer. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Beautiful Home

Kura Vida is a beautiful, spacious and comfortable home located two blocks from the beach. My family had a "Family Beach Week" and decided on this home. We were not disappointed. It was he perfect location to gather around for food, games, laughter, sunshine, sand and an overall good time. Our host, Hayley, made communication easy and she was super kind. We will definitely be booking KV in the future.

Terrific experience

As a frequent user of VRBO properties, things can be pretty hit and miss. This particular stay was a goldmine hit. In fact, I think the listing does not do justice to the quality of the lodging, amenities, and proximity to the beach. The open living space and kitchen were second to none which is very important to our family as we tend to make our own food on vacation. The local beach is very nice and not crazy crowded like other parts of the outer Banks. The water was definitely clean and Waves were large enough to be exciting for the kids but not dangerous. The property owners were incredibly responsive and helpful with the whole check-in process. I never had to reach out for any issues as the place was well kept and immaculate. Anyways, this is a five-star stay and I'm looking forward to hopefully returning next summer.

There was plenty of room for our group of 11, which included grandparents and small children. The beach was very close by, and we walked easily with out wagon and kids. The house is beautifully designed and decorated. Loved having laundry on the first and 3rd floor. Beds are comfortable!

Respite, Joy and Hope!

What a beautiful landscape to celebrate the union of my son and daughter-in-law! House offered calming and restorative ambiance with plenty of space to give newly weds privacy! First floor unit is self-contained—perfect for isolating from rest of group but just a few steps to join the festivities. House was clean, nicely designed and decorated, and full of amenities. Beach is close by, near pier and nice beaches. Exactly what’s advertised!

Property was excellent. Owner was exceptional in response to our requests. Layout respected privacy for each family. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of games and household supplies were available. Only complaint is that the beach had a steep drop-off which wasn't the best for our young kids.

Birthday Retreat

Several friends joined me to celebrate a birthday at the beach. KuraVida surpasses our expectations. Hayley was great in communicating the check-in process. Information on house amenities was easily located once at the house. It was such a great space to reconnect and relax. Additionally, the house was clean and comfortable. What a great location to disconnect and enjoy a few days at the beach.

Awesome Venue!

What a wonderful property. Cozy, clean, comfortable and convenient! This is a superb venue for a middle to large size family. There is plenty of room which allows everyone enough space to be comfortable. All the rooms, beds, bathrooms etc were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Having an oversized picnic table for the dinning area was a stroke of genius. Chairs on one side, a sturdy bench on the other side allowed the entire family to sit a the table together. The master bath shower was roomy and awesome. The king size bed in the master suite was very comfortable but a bit creaky. We made very good use of the washer and dryer which is conveniently located on the top floor where most of the family slept! The only knock, and it is a very small one, was the TV. We had to figure out how to use Hulu and finding something to watch was a bit of a struggle working through Hulu's viewing menus. A short walk of a block and 1/2 and we were on the beach. Because it was not on the main street, there was very little road noise. The homeowner was available via email or phone and communicated with us several times to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying the house! Overall the home was a superb venue to bring our family together for a week of fun and relaxation!! If we ever decide to gather again in Kure Beach, this will be the first place I check to see if it is available!!!
