The pictures are very deceiving. Our sheets were dirty and had to be changed, we were provided 3 towels and 1 wash cloth for 4 people, and when we went to the front desk to get more towels, the woman at the front desk told us to get them ourselves. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I would not walk around without my shoes on. In the morning we found a cockroach on the floor, killed it, and brought it to the front desk in a tissue. Since we booked through Expedia, the property couldn't help us and said to contact Expedia. I paid over $400 for a 1 night stay (in the off-season) and was refunded $52, and the property was "unreachable" many times when Expedia tried reaching out. Do NOT book here. I’ll start with the good. The staff was very kind and waited for us as it was late (after 10 pm and we came from far away) before we could get to the room to check in. The room was “swept clean” but it was not clean at all and it smelled of third degree smoke. The bed sheets were clean and kitchen table and chairs clean but that’s it. The bathroom floor was dirty, and we killed a fat spider on the floor. The bathroom had a screened open window and suspect the bug came from this. There was old soap “leftover” in the drain. That was the most disgusting part as well as the third degree smoke. I kept the bathroom open just to get the fresh air to off set the third degree smoke. I booked for two nights but found another place down the road for less and it was so much better. I chose not to say anything that night as it was late for everyone and again the staff at the front desk was really nice but we all needed to go to bed. The room was clean and comfortable, with great amenities. Refrigerator, microwave, and hair dryer in room. Bathroom could use a good scrubbing and a shelf to put items, and hook to hang towels. On site parking, nowhere to get snacks. The hotel was quiet and the staff helpful and attentive. I would stay there again.
