Experience farm-to-table dining at cozy inns and restaurants, as well. If you like to cook, locally owned and operated farms provide the freshest produce, eggs, meats, cheeses, and baked goods. The eggs are a special delight, their golden yellow yolks are perfect for making omelets or boiled and cut up in a salad. You can pair your food selections with local wines and beers, which can be purchased either directly from the wineries and breweries, or in any number of shops and stores. For guests saying during the warmer months, the berry picking (June to October) is also very popular, as is fishing in the lakes and rivers, or you can go boating, rafting, and tubing. The swimming pool is open from the end of May to the end of September, the actual dates depends on weather. For those who love to fish, the lakes and rivers are stocked with trout, and there are local fish to catch as well, bass and pike to name a couple. You can fly fish, cast and reel with lures, or use live bait, whichever format you wish to choose! And in Manchester there is a fishing school which can teach you techniques to increase the chances you go home with a trophy or meal for the family. In addition to the fishing schools, Manchester has a ton to offer: great restaurants and bars, cute shops and art galleries, and a large discount outlet mall for premier clothes and accessories at great prices. For those looking for something sportier, you can learn how to drive off-road with the Land Rover Driving Experience school, and there is a shooting school to improve your hunting and target shooting techniques. We had a large group of families with young children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The adults were able to hang upstairs in front of the fireplace while the kids were able to play downstairs in their own space. The additional house with game room was also a ton of fun! The house was a great layout for our group with plenty of spaces for all to sleep. Kids loved the downstairs while the adults love the game house. The pool was a huge hit with everyone. Lots of space to spread out and explore. We utilized all bedrooms across both the main house and the guest house, and they were spacious and comfortable. The open kitchen made meal prep convenient and easy, and the house had multiple hang-out spaces for kids and parents alike. The space is lovely and is a great place to gather. Kitchen is integrated with living space enough so that everyone can be together. The "toys" provided are plentiful (foosball, ping pong, etc.). It's a beautiful house with plenty of space for multiple families and the separate game -room house was great when the weather wasn't as good for skiing. It's about 30 min from Mt Snow and Stratton and not far from Manchester City. It was also really nice to arrive and not worry about towels, dish soap, coffee, shampoo, paper products, bedding, etc. We used a local chef that was recommended one night for dinner and she was amazing as well. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The house is both beautiful and functional for large groups. It is perfectly situated between five different ski resortss. We were able to go skiing each day and come back to a kitchen that could feed our large group all at one time and also offered the relaxation/entertainment of a hot tub, sauna, large fire place, pool table, ping pong and foosball tables, and a dart set. We used them all and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house has a new addition, a garage converted into a game room with additional bed and bath rooms. The new accommodations are even nicer than the original house. If you want to take a large group to vacation in southern Vermont I can't think of a more enjoyable place to spend your time. ##### Joseph M.
