That is the number one thing we came for, and we got that, here. Just a short distance from town, main highway and all, but sitting outside of this cottage, all one hears is.... Nature. Love it!This place was very charming with a lot of character. It's a very old house at its core - 1890's ish, I think. And with that, you are going to have old-house traits: Creaky, uneven floors, low ceilings (I'm 6'1", and had to be just a little careful in some doorways. Never had to duck, tho!).... No worries, there are newer floors, newer carpet, newer paint. The heater works great! The kitchen is fully equipped. Good wifi, and it reaches outside. If you’ve stayed at a house with a bad couch you’ll know it matters! Host provided basic necessities as specified, and we had no issues. The only drawback was the smell of sulfur in the water. The owner supplies a water cooler with good drinking water, though. A short drive to Colton Point to see the Grand Canyon of PA. Firefly cottage has all the amenities you need, from kitchen supplies to fresh drinking water and convenience items, towels, linens, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The fire pit was nice to sit by day or night, along with star gazing at night. ##### Michelle W.
