'Dood's Ranch' is a fully renovated, quaint mountain cottage on a horse farm setting, apprx 1 mile from downtown Waynesville and all it has to offer. Long range views of Wolf Pen and Lickstone Mtns on front porch, and views of famous Eagle's Nest Mtn from the spacious side deck. This conveniently located 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house boasts a full kitchen, a comfortable living room w/cable and internet, and a master w/bath on main. We are from Florida and have vacationed in this area for many years and this is the first time it has ever snowed. We loved the scenery but hated the drive. The entire house was immaculate! Beautifully decorated. Our every need was met. We highly recommend this wonderful house. Only two complaints which the owner may not be aware: the upstairs bed was unstable with only one board to hold up the mattress also the window blind fell while being opened. We were not made aware of this from the couple who stayed in that room until we left or I would have left a note at the house instead of reporting it here.
