Welcome to Lazy Oaks Lodge! This charming and spacious 3-bedroom log cabin is nestled in the heart of Valle Crucis, offering breathtaking, unobstructed mountain views from both front porches and all three levels. Designed for comfort and relaxation, the cabin features three large suites, each with a private full bathroom. Two suites have king beds, while the third offers two queen beds, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the lower-level den, accommodating up to 10 guests.  
  
Inside, you'll find everything you need for a memorable getaway: a game room with a pool table, a hot tub, central heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and HD Smart TVs with digital programming. All of this is within walking distance of the Watauga River and just a short drive from Valle Crucis Park, the original Mast General Store, and the charming village.  
  
Main Level – Open-Concept Living & Dining  
The main level features an inviting open-concept layout with wood floors, exposed beams, and vaulted ceilings, creating a warm and rustic ambiance. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with stainless steel appliances and custom-crafted live-edge wood counters. A center island with three barstools provides a casual gathering spot, while the dining table seats up to seven guests.  
The living room is the perfect place to unwind, boasting a floor-to-ceiling stone wood-burning fireplace, a large HD Smart TV, and stylish mountain-modern furniture, including a leather sofa, loveseat, and a reclining chair. A half bathroom/powder room is also conveniently located on this level.  
Step onto the covered front porch, where a porch swing, high-top Adirondack chairs, and glider chairs invite you to take in the stunning, long-range mountain views. Out back, the open-air rear deck offers a stainless gas grill and handicap-friendly access to the main level—making this cabin a great option for those with mobility concerns.  
  
Master Suite – Main Level  
The master suite, located on the main level, is a serene retreat featuring a king bed, HD Smart TV, and stunning mountain views. The ensuite bathroom boasts wood floors, a dual-head slate tile and river rock shower with a built-in seat, and a custom live-edge double vanity with vessel sinks.  
  
Upstairs – Loft & Queen Suite  
The open loft overlooks the living area and mountain views, providing a cozy space with a round table and four leather armchairs, perfect for games or conversation.  
The upstairs bedroom suite is spacious and inviting, with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, two queen beds, and an HD Smart TV. The ensuite full bathroom includes a tub/shower combo for added convenience.  
  
Lower Level – Game Room & King Suite  
Downstairs, the den/game room offers a pool table, a large HD Smart TV, and a comfy sofa that opens into a queen sleeper.  
The lower-level bedroom suite features a king bed, mountain-view windows, and a private ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Step outside to the lower-level porch, where a large hot tub awaits—perfect for soaking in the crisp mountain air and stunning views.

We drove 12 hours and when we arrived, we arrived to a dirty cabin. The last thing you want to do when you arrive after a long trip is have to clean, especially when I don’t appreciate having to pay a cleaning fee and I arrive to a dirty place..when I reached out to report it to the number that was given to us I got no reply. I did get a reply from the app, but there was no apology or anything offered. Whoever manages and cleans this property is a lazy cleaner.. there was hair in the bathtub. Chips in the couch and a floss pick in the couch. There was dog hair matted to the barstools, because they hadn’t been moved to sweep under. It looks like the main surfaces in the kitchen were wiped down but nothing else that place needs a deep clean the stairs going down to the game room had food on them. There were stuff on the walls. There was food on the kitchen window. Other than the cleanliness and the lack of concern from management, the property was beautiful! Hopefully the homeowners will be able to see this and crack down on the staff because if it were my home and I came there to vacation and saw the lack of cleanliness, I would be upset. In all my years of using VRBO I have never left a bad review, but like I said, I should not be charged a cleaning fee and come to a cabin I spent a lot of money on and have to clean it.

This cabin gave us the true mountain cabin experience. The view was beautiful! We were close to Ski Beech which was why we booked so our family could go skiing. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day of skiing. The cabin was cozy and offered plenty of space for my family of 7\. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely come back! Stefani
