the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room. The staff in the restaurant were not great on understanding or speaking English. There is a huge pool, but everyone is required to wear a swimming hat. We did not go in:(

Five stars? Not even close. Closer to a motel 8 with a nice lobby. Peeling paint in the shower, stained floors, no hot water one morning and yes.. there are bugs. Have bites all over my legs. Coffee in room is two packets of freeze dried nescaffe. What 5 star hotel would have any of those? Not sure what else to say but to read the other comments and be assured that they’re true.

We had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately, we only discovered it on the last day of our trip, because we would have loved to spend much more time here. The villa was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful garden where our baby had plenty of room to play and enjoy herself. The pool was lovely, the food was amazing, and the hospitality was outstanding. Everyone made us feel so welcome. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much for your kindness and for making our stay so special!

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The photos and the high price tag make it look like a luxury hotel, but that is far from reality. To start, the hotel doesn't even have a pool, and the bar area has nowhere to sit. The air conditioning in the room takes forever to turn on, making it incredibly uncomfortable every time we walked in. The shower stall is tiny and completely floods the bathroom floor. However, the biggest disappointment was the beach club. The beach is shared with a public club that rents out chairs, so it was completely packed. There was no way to relax, as we were stuck between crying kids throwing slippers at each other. The beach service was painfully slow; we had to constantly wave our hands hoping a waiter would eventually look at us. When the food finally arrived, it was immediately covered in ants, and we had to throw it away. We were so frustrated that we left the hotel less than 2 hours after checking in and only came back to sleep. To top it all off, they couldn't even manage to get us a dinner reservation at the restaurant before 9:30 PM. Save your money—this place is definitely not worth it.

Loved the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Large selection atbreakfast. Very central for visiting Bari old town and new. All in all a lovely relaxing stay Would highly recommend We had no problems
