À l’extérieur, il y a un petit jardin privé avec salle à manger et espace de détente extérieur. L’appartement est situé au rez-de-chaussée d’une ancienne ferme rénovée avec charme, avec des matériaux respectueux de l’environnement, immergé dans les collines verdoyantes de Bologne et entouré d’oliviers. La structure, qui se compose de deux autres appartements, est située dans une grande propriété de plus de 100 000 mètres carrés dans laquelle se trouvent la maison principale, la piscine à débordement comprenant un grand espace de détente et un vestiaire avec toilettes, une aire de jeux avec ping-pong et une zone équipée pour le barbecue et le parking. La piscine a une profondeur de 1,40 m et est équipée de marches confortables pour la descente, avec un bord à débordement avec une vue spectaculaire sur les collines environnantes et avec une ouverture saisonnière du 15/05 au 30/09 selon les conditions météorologiques et ouverte tous les jours de 9h00 à 18h30\. Internet et wi-fi gratuits dans tout l’établissement. L’espace barbecue équipé est disponible jusqu’à 21h00\. Nos clients sont priés d’utiliser correctement les installations et les zones équipées, en les libérant à la fin des heures indiquées. Le Wi-Fi offre un débit raisonnable mais est parfois un peu capricieux. Les 2 gîtes proposés (4 et 7 personnes) sont intelligemment disposés pour que chaque famille préserve son intimité. Nous avons disposé d'une place de parking propre et protégée par un portail automatique, très rassurant. Pas de corvée de ménage en partant, c'est appréciable. Prévenir les propriétaires lorsque l'on souhaite laver le linge, car les machines se trouvent dans leur sous-sol privé. La grande piscine à débordement est superbe, bien aménagée et équipée d'accessoires et jeux pour bien s'amuser, et il y a un cabinet de toilettes extérieur ! La vue est très jolie, sans vis-à-vis. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Bologne, Modena, Ravenna, Ferrare et les petits villages voisins, l'accès est rapide en voiture. ##### MICHEL G. Unser Appartement „Garden“ war sauber, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und alle Wohn-/Schlafräume sind klimatisiert. Bettwäsche, Handtücher etc. sind inklusive und auch die Waschküche kann mitgenutzt werden. Die Terrasse ist einladend groß (ca. 30 qm), uneinsehbar und beschattet. Ein Fahrzeug kann sicher im Innenhof abgestellt werden. Auch die selbst produzierten Spezialitäten (z.B. Honig) sollte man unbedingt probieren! Wir werden im nächsten Sommer wiederkommen. The garden apartment is even nicer than in photos - very clean, cozy and comfortable. Alessandro's family was welcoming and friendly - Gregorio met with us at check-in, showed us around and remained available to help with any questions. The private patio under the trees was a fantastic place to sit with a morning coffee or a casual dinner in the evening, and the pool and the views were absolutely amazing! We were thankful for the air conditioning too, as it was a hot week. We really enjoyed staying in a place that was small, family-run and semi-private, with one other family staying at the same time - we enjoyed meeting them and playing some games in the pool together. Valsamoggia is a beautiful area, conveniently located close to Bologna and lots of day trip destinations. Five stars on every aspect of this stay, our family of three (with a 15-year-old) had a wonderful time and we wouldn't hesitate to return! ##### Heini T. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Gregorio en Allesandro. Het is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van verschillende mooie steden in de omgeving, op amper 5 minuten van de autostrade. Es war kein Grill vorhanden wie beschrieben. Es stand auf einem Schild: Dont use the barbeque area. 3.WLAN war nicht vorhanden. 4\. TV kein Programm. 5\. Séjour de 5 nuits en août 2023 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Inge H., Amersfoort, The Netherlands 31 juill. 2023 Points forts : Propreté #### Nice property near Bologna with Italian hospitality and great pool We selected this apartment because of the beautiful pool with great view and to be near Bologna. And that was just like we hoped it to be. We were perfectly welcomed by Alessandro’s son Gregorio. And met Alessandro the next day. He was a perfect host to us. We loved to play with the dog Novi, who was excited to play with the ball in the beautiful Olive Garden. We went to a few very good restaurants in the neighborhood (Trattorio del Borgo Monteveglio and La Casola) and visited Bologna several times. Be careful where you drive with your car, do not enter the ZTL, because you have to pay a fine. The few things we were less positive about are: the WiFi was not everywhere so strong, there was no couch, we knew that, but missed it a bit, and we wanted a bit more fresh air in the second room. From this room you have to go to the other room to the bathroom. It was very nice to have the screens against insects before every window, because there were many mosquitoes when we were there. The infinity pool was very large and we enjoyed it very much! We loved the quietness of the place, yet still close to Bologna. Thank you very much for taking good care of us. ##### Inge H. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. The only issue we had was the heat. Unfortunately there were heat warnings throughout this part of Europe in July and the property is not set up yet to deal with those temps, so it made sleeping and relaxing very difficult ( although the pool certainly helped). I know that Alessandro indicated they will be installing air conditioners for 2024 so that should address the issue. Otherwise we loved our vacation. ##### Peter D. Alessandro and Angela were welcoming hosts (et pour les francophones, Alessandro parle français). We stayed in the Garden apartment, which was comfortable. We particularly appreciated the private terrace. The infinity pool was a great way to cool off on the hot July afternoons, and as other guests have noted, the view of the picturesque landscape enchanting. ##### Leigh B. Séjour de 7 nuits en juin 2023 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Iain G., Wiesbaden, Germany 29 juin 2023 Points forts : Propreté #### Lovely setting, friendly hosts Borgo degli Ulivi is an enclosed hilltop residence in a setting of olive trees, vineyards and woodland, a tranquil retreat from which to explore surrounding villages and the splendorous city of Bologna - home to many treasures including "the oldest university in continuous operation in the world" (Wiki). The "Borgo" rests above the township of Crespellano, which offers supermarkets, chemists and other services. Many will know of Parma ham and Parmigiano cheese, and be aware of the ancient vinticultural heritage of Emilia Romagna, but I don't think we had understood how fundamental a role food and wine have in this region. Visting restaurants in the environs of Crespellano is a highly recommendable way of enjoying this deep-rooted and bounteous tradition. The most participatory of our culinary experiences was a visit by sisters Monika and Barbara to teach us how to make pasta with basic ingredients and rolling pins - a great learning experience not only in pasta production, our teachers being highly knowledgeable in all aspects of regional food culture. Our hosts, Alessandro and Angela and their two sons, Francesco and Giorgio, were very friendly and ready to offer advice. The pool has a fantastic view and is a great place to relax. One easily solvable quibble in my glowing account is that a more accurate description of just one feature of the smaller of the two flats would have been appreciated.
