Located in the heart of the Laurentians, Val-David offers easy access to a wide variety of activities, all within a 30-minute drive.
Right next door, the Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park is an outdoor playground with hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking and even fat biking (available since 2017). After your adventures, you can unwind in the year-round spa and enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by nature.
Yet in just 7 minutes by car, you’ll reach the charming village of Val-David, known for its farmers’ market, cozy bistros, inviting restaurants, and unique local shops.
From the chalet or nearby, you’ll also find canoeing, kayaking, fishing, climbing, downhill skiing, ATV riding, sledding, ziplining, waterparks, and much more.
Although not lakeside, the chalet features a year-round spa and a heated pool in summer, with Lake Raymond and Lake des Sables beaches just 10–15 min away.
Set on a private wooded lot, it borders the “La Gyllespie” trail, leading to Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park (80 km of trails) for hiking, mountain biking, fat biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and climbing.

The entire house is yours to enjoy. Entry is easy, with just a single step at the entrance.
The ground floor is quite wheelchair-friendly, featuring a bedroom and a bathroom conveniently located next to the main living areas. This layout ensures comfort and accessibility for guests with reduced mobility.
Designed and built by sculptor Robert Lachance, this unique chalet combines art, comfort, and conviviality. Nestled on a private 3-acre estate at the summit of Val-David’s highest mountain, it offers breathtaking views and direct access to the Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park (1,900 acres of protected nature).
The chalet features 4 spacious bedrooms, comfortably accommodating multiple families or groups of friends:
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen bed + 1 Twin bed (main floor – full bathroom)
Bedroom 2: 1 Queen bed + 1 Twin bed (upstairs – bathroom with shower)
Bedroom 3: 1 Queen bed (garden level – shower room)
Bedroom 4: 1 Queen bed (garden level – shower room)
All bedding and bath towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels for the pool or spa).
You’ll enjoy a large open-concept living area on the main floor with a cozy lounge, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a spacious family room with pool table on the garden level. There are three bathrooms in total, including one with a bathtub. An expansive terrace with a barbecue (not available in winter) completes the space.

You will need a vehicle to get around, and there is plenty of parking space available for guests.
Please note that the chalet is located at the top of a steep hill.
In summer: any regular vehicle can access it without difficulty.
In winter: good winter tires are essential, and a 4x4 is strongly recommended to drive up.
If your vehicle cannot make it up in snowy or icy conditions, you can park safely at the bottom of the hill near the street and walk up to the chalet.
*Chalet Capacity – Up to 10 guests. Base rate for 4 occupants (ages 2 and up), with an additional charge per extra person.
*Hot Tub – Accessible and functional year-round.
*Pool – Heated, available from June 15 to September 15, or when nighttime temperatures remain above 10 °C (50 °F).
*BBQ – During the cold season, if present on the terrace, guests are responsible for clearing snow, cleaning the grates, and refilling the propane tank if needed (no winter maintenance provided).
*Campfire – Summer only, when the designated black steel fire pit with grills is installed.
*Dogs are welcome (max. 2) at $75 + tax per dog, but must stay on the main floor. Safety gates are installed for pets and children. Please keep dogs off sofas and beds, clean up after them outside, and if there’s noticeable shedding at checkout, a quick brush or lint roll is appreciated.
*Check-in / Check-out – Check-in from 5 p.m., check-out by 12 p.m. No Saturday arrivals or departures (exceptions possible upon request).
*Cameras – Outdoor only, facing the entrance. Recordings are kept for a maximum of 90 days.
*Pre-registration – Mandatory with ID to prevent fraud. Grants access to the Virtual Chalet Guide.
*Security Deposit – Pre-authorization on your card on arrival day, released after inspection of the property.
