Although a bit dated, the hotel is a really good base of operations if you want to visit the surrounding area. Although the hotel itself is not really in a busy hub, it is close to a lot of nice places to go to, which makes it a great location for an active vacation. The rooms could be a bit beter lit, and they really should install some anti-mosquito measurements, judging by the blood spots on walls, ceiling and curtains.

We had a nice stay and found the room wonderful. It was clean, good looking, accessible by bus. It's nice to have access to the wellness we were just missing information about where to get towels and when we asked if we should know anything about accessing he wellness they said no.

This is a gem of a hotel tucked away in an industrial estate but indoors it’s quiet, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are comfy and clean and there’s a relaxed vibe. It’s a 10K walk to and through Maximapark but well worth it - just annoying that the nearest bridge over the motorway doesn’t allow bikes or pedestrians so you spend less time in the park.

Short business trip

What a great place were my first thoughts when stepping in, and it stuck for the whole stay. Brakfast was fresh and with variety. Evening restaurant personnel was friendly and we got our beers and those deepfried bitterbollen quickly. The bitterbollen were excellent! Room was super clean and cozy. Only minus I had to give because some in the reception staff didn't bother to say hello or even smile back, not everyone but some. I will visit again nonetheless.

This is a first class hotel but quite pricy. Excellent facilities but not a huge choice in the food options. You’re offered an expensive basic menu and invited to upgrade to a fairly typical menu for an extra payment. There’s little or no local competition so once you’re sitting there it’s a gun to your head. It’s an ugly metaphor but also an ugly business strategy. The room was great, very warm and comfortable but I’d prefer a bit more choice.

I had a two night stay in the Carlton President and chose it as I struggle to sleep with noise. I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly, the facilities excellent (I was sad not to have realised there was a health centre & spa and hadn’t packed clothing to enjoy these areas), the restaurant had good breakfast and dinner options and the bed was devine. The place was immaculately clean. The location meant it was handy to get into the centre by bus (a few minutes walk away) with good connections to main roads and sufficient parking. They have bicycle rental and I took the bike paths out to castle de Haar - a 25 min cycle - and was not disappointed. I would recommend a stay here to anyone and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you to all the staff.

Hi, lovely hotel and spacious resturant. Had a wonderful breakfast in the morning and enjoyed the spa area then too although your not allowed to use the spa in the evening unless you private book And pay extra for it? Then the dinner rates were extremely expensive and not a tasteful menu. The location was also very hard without a car and I struggled with a train, bus Then walking just to reach there, had to then pay twice to get uber's back and forth to my venue and reason for staying at the hotel at all, And the room was cold, heater didnt work and no real air con to use. Standard dutch issues.
