Bohlenstube Guest Apartment

In the beautiful Eichsfeld region in the heart of the Federal Republic of Germany lies the small vacation apartment “Bohlenstube”
Located on the outskirts of Birkenfelde, right on the way to the “Hennefeste,” our local mountain, you can spend wonderful days in peace and quiet, free from noise and stress.
Right outside the door, you can begin your hike to the beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Hennefeste. From there, there are several additional hiking trails offering stunning views of the beautiful Eichsfeld region and beyond.

One of the Leine-Werra connecting bike paths runs through Birkenfelde.
This provides good access to the Leine-Heide Bike Trail (3 km away) and the Werratal Bike Trail (11 km away).

In town, there is a bakery offering some everyday items, as well as a small ice cream shop.
Additional shopping options are available starting at a distance of 6 km in several directions.

The small vacation apartment is partially modelled on a historic log cabin.
With a small staircase and storage space for suitcases, etc., the small attic offers a total of approximately 40 square metres of living space.
It can accommodate up to 2 adults.
There is a kitchenette with a small electric stove, a 2-burner ceramic cooktop, a hot-air fryer, a kettle, and a toaster.
There is also a sitting area for 3–4 people, a TV, Wi-Fi, a double bed,
a separate toilet, and a separate shower.
Outdoor seating is available in the pergola and under the balcony (both covered) or on the patio.
The “Bohlenstube” includes a covered area for bicycles under the balcony (with an electrical outlet), a parking space directly in front of the door can be used “at your own risk,” and a public parking lot is available about 100 metres away.
