This is nice basic hotel with very friendly staff on the edge of the downtown area. a fan kept the room tolerable, as Trujillo gets pretty hot. the rooms are clean, and the staff is very helpful with information, taxis and holding luggage. One of the best hotels we stayed at. The staff were very accommodating in every way possible. Susan and another young girl (breakfast) and a young man (I think Jefferson-worked from 4pm) were the best. Even the owner ( I think William was his name-was fantastic as well as his wife. Very clean and very quiet. There is a computer on each floor and Wi - Fi through out the hotel. The staff was very friendly and spoke a little English. The hotel helped to call a travel agency that they had several brochures for at the front desk. The price was very good and the guides spoke very good English. The hotel will call a taxi for you and recommend restaurants in the city. We had a late departure by bus for Guayaquil and they let us stay past the regular check out time till 8 PM. A very nice touch, and they were not that busy.
