Upon check in, I would say it was disappointing to get a second floor room with no elevator and a huge suitcase i had to lug up the stairs as a disabled person. Additionally, I received a call near midnight that my credit card had declined and I was required to come down to the office immediately to resolve. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected banking issue and with the time of notice was unable to create a solution for payment. I voiced my concern that this wasn't caught on check in when I could have called and potentially resolved the issue. The bright side was that the employee went above and beyond after she saw the efforts I was making and created a solution that worked until the next morning. Again with misfortune, I had to call emergency services for a medical issue and was carted away by ambulance bef9re being able to confirm resolution. Today I was able to confirm with my bank that the charge did go through and they were paid for my stay. The employee that went above and beyond should be acknowledged for the extra effort, specifically because of my medical emergency and how much worse it would have been if I was unable to at minimum stay for the night.
