Easy drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes as well as Glen Arbor, Lelanau and several wineries.About a 2 hour drive from Mackinaw Island, made for a decent day trip.Things to be aware of: you have to climb a flight of stairs every time you enter as the main living is on second floor and bedrooms are on 3rd floor-nice to have a garage but our CX 9, just fit-it was hard to get the upstairs bedrooms cool enough for sleeping, bring a fan or set the temp pretty low about a couple hours before bed-would have been nice to have a luggage rack or something to set our luggage onBonus: loved the carefree checkout!Overall a nice stay and none of these would keep us from staying again.
