While we do take all preventative measures to keep critters and insects out with monthly scheduled pest control, there is always the possibility that one may come through an opening. Please try to keep doors shut to help keep any possible insects out. It is not uncommon to encounter bears or any wildlife in the Smokies especially May - Nov. And you may see a Mama and cub roam the grounds. Please do not go near or feed them. Do not leave any food or drinks in the car or outside. Bears may try to break in car. Keep vehicles locked at all times. We are not responsible or liable for any damages or harm from bears. Please be aware of bears when cooking outdoors. Do not leave food unattended while outside or on the grill. Please keep all doors and sliding glass door closed and locked during bear season. It’s perfectly tucked away—peaceful and quiet—yet only about 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so it felt like the best of both worlds.The cabin itself was incredibly spacious and so well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and piece of cookware we could possibly need. We ended up cooking breakfast every morning and most dinners after a long day of exploring, and it felt just like being at home (maybe even better!).One of our favorite features was the screened-in fire pit. With the crisp chill in the mountain air, it was the perfect spot to sit, relax, and warm up at the end of the day. And I cannot forget the hot tub/swim spa—after walking around Dollywood for hours, soaking in it was an absolute lifesaver. Our muscles thanked us!Overall, this cabin was everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable getaway. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place was open and light and the floor to ceiling doors that open up were amazing. It was beautiful and peaceful. The swim spa was much needed after a 5 mile hike at Cades Cove. The place was very clean and Loni answered any questions I had before my stay, during, and followed up after. Excellent communication and had zero problems. I just wish we could have extended a day but it was already booked. My family and I would absolutely book this again. The baby bear visits were a highlight of our stay. He scared away easily so there was no worry. We had everything we needed . The house and property is so well thought out. So many small upgrades. We played music through the bluetooth sound system. The emails walked us right through how to use everything! The spa was out of this world. We had the pleasure to soak every evening. After retiring from the spa we ended every evening with a fire on the back porch. The entire trip was ao relaxing. The location is close enough to make any drive to stores or in town easy to do but provided plenty of seclusion from other cabins. The cabin is spacious and has every amenity you could need for a stay. The way it is decorated and the surrounding area will make you feel right at home. Outside, the patio area has plenty of seating arrangements and there is also a covered part that has its own fire pit for chillier nights. The hot tub was a big hit with our group, it functioned perfectly and was spacious enough for 6 people. Appliances all worked great and host set us up with everything we could need and stayed in constant communication with plenty of great recommendations around the area.
