Martello Tower Tours and Activities

Upon check-in, we learned our "upgraded" room was on the ground floor. We booked a Deluxe Suite but were told it was a Deluxe Garden View Suite. The description mentions bay views and shows photos of the water, so this felt misleading. After complaining, we were moved to a second-floor room. The staff was accommodating, but I believe the original assignment was a mistake. The rooms were decent but had drawbacks. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows and blankets were thin. Both rooms had gaps under the patio doors that allowed ants inside. The shower had no door or curtain, water pressure was weak, and closet space was limited. Dining was average. Meals were made to order, but there were usually only three entrée choices per day. The wait staff was always pleasant to me but noticeably less friendly to my wife. Guests must reuse the same water bottles and refill them at a station near the restaurant. The dispenser became very slow when several people were using it, and if you ran out of water, you had to walk back to the lobby to refill. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away and includes a steep hill. The private plunge pool was a highlight. We also enjoyed the Green Island boat excursion, which was well worth the cost. Overall, the resort did not meet our expectations. We prefer resorts with beach access on-site, more dining options, and greater convenience. We made the best of the trip, but based on our experience, we would not return.

Me and my wife went for her birthday they set up something for her birthday was beautiful. I appreciate everything. The staff did. They treat us like Kings and Queens and I will be back thank y’all for everything.
