Plenty of areas to retreat to both inside and out in this one story living home and almost half acre waterfront lot! The small town of Topping is part of the River Realm, 465 miles of shoreline, along with 7 other friendly nearby towns in Middlesex & Lancaster Counties. It is the ideal place to experience the perfect oyster, escape, reflect, and return to life on the water! The space As you pull up to the house you park just steps away from the front door. Conveniently you have just a couple steps before you are at the entrance door. The leads into the secondary living room with dedicated work space, TONS of books for you enjoyment, TV and a couple couches. Off this living room is the spacious laundry room with additional sink, back up fridge, and storage of all kitchen appliances for all your culinary desires! Leading off the secondary living room takes you into the center of the home where the open fully stocked kitchen, living room and dining room is located. Windows surround you in these spaces with excellent views of the river while dining, cooking or relaxing on the comfortable furniture! Off the living room is a very spacious screened in porch that runs almost the full length of the house. Several chairs and large dining table for outdoor dining with more fantastic water views! Off the kitchen is the king bedroom with River views. Across the hall is the updated bathroom with tile shower. Continue down the hallway to the queen bed on your left with River views. Across the hall is a slightly larger full bath with tub/shower combo. Finally at the end of the hallway is a bedroom with two twin beds! When exiting the home from the back of the house off the screened in porch there is another porch that is not screened in. Walk down two steps that leads you down to the backyard with solo stove, outdoor furniture, picnic table, etc. as you walk toward the dock. The boat house to located on the dock housing all the river toys! Guest access You will have access to all areas of the home, private dock and boat house; with the exception of attic, locked owners closets, garage and boat lift. Baby gate, Pack & Play & High chair are available for your use during your stay. Two kayak's, a canoe, and a plethora of other boat house items are here for your enjoyment including but not limited to chairs, fishing rods, crab pots, clam rakes etc. Yard games are available for your pleasure on the screened in porch as well as many books inside on the bookshelf located in the secondary living room. Community boat ramp available for your use during your stay. Beaches are within driving distance! Fireplace is not functional indoors. The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed. We loved the big front porch overlooking the water and enjoyed time sitting out on the dock watching the water and the light and the sky changing. There are lots of water birds to watch as well. The house was perfectly stocked and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The house is done nicely and has nice furnishings and a beautiful kitchen. The screened in porch is large with lots of seating and is great to eat in and relax inside. The piers they have are great. All 5 of us could be fishing at once without an issue. The low pier makes it very easy to launch the Kayaks and canoe. The boat house has lots of supplies and was very convenient to be able to keep all your fishing and recreational stuff in during the stay. The owners crab pots worked great and we had two meals of fresh caught crabs during our stay. The provided steamer and outdoor burner made it easy to cook them. We met up with a close friend who grew up with us not far from the area for a reunion of sorts. All three bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were firm, though not hard at all. We spent most of our time at the house in the screened in porch that faces the river. The porch is quite large! All seating was comfortable. The weather wasn’t overly cooperative so we never did get to take the canoe or kayaks out, but they looked well kept. If we’d had more time we may have utilized the fishing and crabbing gear, but we weren’t planning on that. There were ingredients for s’mores and a fire pit. I think our biggest regret was not making s’mores. But the home was so relaxing we just felt lazy and cozy all weekend. There was a wonderful French Cabernet left near the guest book as well. A very elegant touch. We are hoping for a chance to return soon! This was honestly our best of many good VRBO experiences. We highly recommend it. ##### Lawrence V. Just sit back and relax in the screened porch, dock or living room in front of fireplace. Nicely appointed cottage with comfy beds and sofa.
