That and the bathroom light switch fell out of the wall, leaving exposed wires. The mold could have been easily taken care of with a simple scrub brush and some cleaner with bleach, so I’d chalk it up to lax housekeeping, poor management or a negligent owner—or perhaps all three. Rooms are not too bad but I am not sure if the size measurements are accurate as seem small even by Tokyo standards despite the sizes indicating larger than comparable hotels. Bathroom has a really awkward double sliding door. On the plus side the sound insulation was very good and the traffic on the very close flyover in the front was not audible at all.
