My 25 year old daughter and I stayed for nine days and really enjoyed the
whole experience. The house was clean and well set up. The location was amazing with access to lots of restaurants, supermarkets and
Ikeburo Station just minutes away. Min was a great host and responded quickly to all our questions. Highly recommend.
.
We had 5 adults and we stayed comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked. The house was less then 5 minutes walking to a wonderful grocery store, 8 minutes to the train, and so many things to see walking around the neighborhood. It is quiet and no other tourist. Our morning walks around the neighborhood were wonderful. If we come back to Tokyo, I would stay again.

Cozy spot in a fantastic location!
This place is located right next to a cute pudding shop and a fresh fish store right off the main road. It's near a train and several konbini while being tucked away so you can sleep peacefully. Min was very quick to answer any questions we had and made our check in process easy as pie.The only issue we encountered was a spot of mold in the second floor bedroom that leaked water onto the bed (it rained during our stay) and gave us all some stuffy noses for a dew days after.
No issues. My family was very happy for the week we stayed. Very clean and well equipped. Note the place is very small but so is most hotels in Japan. Lacks closet space so you have to live out of your suitcase. There is a very steep round staircase, which someone senior will have issues with. Other than that, fantastic place. It is a little bit of walk from the station I say about 10 mins but doable. We enjoyed our stay! I would recommend staying here.
Great location. Great communication and Quick response from owner. The place has everything you need. Close to supermarkets, shopping centres, train stations all within walking distance. Comfortable enough for 4-5 people but be mindful of three flights of very narrow stairs to the rooms with luggage. Most properties in Japan are very small but somehow everything just fits. First floor has kitchen/lounge/ toilet. Second floor has a bedroom with two single beds, sofa bed and shower (toilet on the first floor). Third floor has a double bed and shower +toilet. We found the beds are quite firm. Pillows could probably do with an upgrade. It was raining for couple of days/nights and the rain did somehow came thru the window sills a bit on the second floor bedroom so I hope the owner will look into this. All in all we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place.
overall a great cozy place to stay in ikebukuro, tokyo. the host was great and was great with any concerns and communications. the place itself was very nice and pleasant. the narrow staircase is the only real main issue, getting up and down, especially with luggage but that's the only real negative issue i had. the place was nice and clean. having two toilets and two showers is great for a group of people staying there. showers is a little tight but got the job done. this is definitely a great spot for a family of 4/5 and a great neighborhood to explore with plenty of food options and markets nearby.

A good option, if it was in a better condition
GOOD: The house is easy to locate as it's just off a main road and it's also an easy walk to the Ikebukuro train station.
POOR: My family did not have a good experience at this house as there were areas in it that were moldy, which may have triggered my family member's allergies. Examples are around the kitchen faucet, behind the peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, behind the wallpaper around a window and behind the wallpaper in the closet (you can see dark colored areas behind the wallpaper).
