By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. Apr 6, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Not a bad stay Asami, the host, was incredibly kind and responsive to my messages. The rental itself was charming, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was excellent, with the train station just a 7-minute walk away. The neighborhood was also pleasant and peaceful.However, there were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. The rental was located on the third floor, and the stairs were very steep, making it quite challenging to carry heavy luggage up. Additionally, the bathroom was extremely small, even for me, and I'm petite. If you're tall or have a larger build, navigating the bathroom might be difficult. The futon was quite firm, which isn't my usual preference. While I would have preferred a softer mattress, it wasn't the most uncomfortable bed I've experienced Despite these minor inconveniences, we had a lovely experience overall, and I would likely choose to stay here again. ##### Maritoni O.
