Happy to recommend COCOYO HOTEL and would definitely stay there again in the future. Larger than average room and brand new. No breakfast to mention but free coffee unlimited. However, if you are taller than 180 cm, expect to hit your knees into the wall when you sit on the toilet. The bathroom is ridiculously small. I have stayed in over 100 hotels in Japan over the years, and I have never seen such a small bathroom. This is clearly an architectural mistake, given the room size. Ideal location if you want to avoid super busy areas, yet still close to the train station. Located in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for a relaxing stay. Great connections as it’s a few minutes walk to a Yamanote Line station (Ōtsuka). The line connects all of the popular areas of the city you’ll want to see. The rooms are very compact but well appointed with a kettle. Tea bags and coffee etc are obtained in the reception area along with any extras you may need. The idea is that they’ll supply you with any small items such as a toothbrush etc on an ‘as needed’ basis, so no excess waste.
