Property was the perfect setting for a weekend with some friends. The house fit all of us comfortably and the house was in great shape. Good location to grocery store and other activities for us to do.
The house was a little bit different than the pictures suggested. The overall experience was nice but the house was a little dirty before arrival. I would book again if the cleaning was better
The property was exactly what the pictures show
With the exception that it doesn’t have a bathroom with a bathtub. Ms. Debbie was so nice and was available when I called about the lockbox combination and the black bear that got into the trash from the guests prior to us! The house is very spacious and my family really enjoyed it. The location is great if you enjoy going to the Casino and the outlets. Would definitely recommend to families who are looking for a spacious home to enjoy family time.
The first impression as we entered the house wasn't so great as the house was freezing cold on arrival. The house was at 51 degrees. We immediately called the property manager and she was apologetic and gave us instructions to turn up the heat. Note the heat is oil heat and takes time to heat up the house. It took about 4 hours for the temperature to come upto 65+ degrees and then we were comfortable. So make sure if you are going in winter to reminder property manager to keep the heat on.
The house is dated, but once you spend some time in the house, it grows on you. The house has many rooms at different levels so it was kinda cool figuring it out. It was spacious and the kids enjoyed the pool table and the basement.
Property manager was accommodating - gave us late checkout, also asked us to leave trash in the trash cans outside and we did not have to take the trash to the dumpster. It was very convenient.
The Property manager was kind and checked on us to make sure we were ok. Very nice person to talk to and very accommodating.
The house was wonderful. The owner was very helpful with all instructions and communication. Stores and food were close by which was convenient. There was a large area for parking which allowed all guests to arrive comfortably. The off site garbage was super helpful because it allowed for us to not feel pressured to overflow whatever was there. Overall 10/10
Good value, plenty of space. Just the basics for a good time away from everything. Some amenities could be improved, but overall a good house for having a lot of people and doing things in the area.
We recently stayed at this location for an extended weekend. The home was very clean and had many amenities that could be utilized. The owner was very communicative to us throughout the stay as well! We especially enjoyed the ping pong room! We would absolutely recommend this property to others.
Our family enjoyed the spaciousness of this home for our holiday, and the layout was excellent for a large group. However, we encountered several significant issues that impacted our stay. Upon arrival, the driveway hadn't been recently cleared of snow, and we found a bag of garbage left behind as well as hair in the main shower. While the host was quick to address somebof our immediate concerns the home was uncomfortably cold and drafty. We notified the host about the temperature, but unfortunately, no additional heaters were provided. This made the game room and bunk room almost unusable; our children actually had to wear coats indoors to play ping pong. Additionally, many items were in disrepair—the dining room chairs were loose and wobbly, the foosball table had a broken leg, and only one pool cue was functional. We still enjoyed our family time, but for the price, we expected better maintenance, cleanliness, and a solution for the heating issues.
Untidy room and they don’t change the pillow case and matress
Were disappointed they brought us in his other house not the original one, the addres is 109 moosewoodlane Tobyhanna. A walk a way from the original booking. They told us it’s flooding to the original house.
Tó begging we arrived starting to unpack, we brought cooked food left it on top of the counter, when we come back the refrigerator and all kitchen cabinet was full of dust mites, and ended up all over the food, we have tossed all open boxes of food. Then I when to the pool we the kids, in the reception told me they permit to the swimming pool was expired last year, we couldn’t enter to the swimming pool, real bad experience, never but never try to rent this property, we spend all night cleaning the dust mites
We planned our trip around a few things. We needed room for 17 people, a place that was handicap accessible, a place that was comfortable, a little luxurious and a place outside to have a fire and grill. This location had it all and then some. The host was very communicative and provided us with a great place to stay! Towels, spices, coffee and all kitchen supplies were provided. They also have Netflix and other a la carte streaming options. They even gave us bags of ice in the freezer. We really enjoyed having our pets with us too. We brought our 2 dogs and they also had a great time. We unfortunately were not able to use the country club passes but 6 were given to us and the additional 6 were 8 each. Only 12 passes allowed. We ended up going to Tobyhanna State Park for hiking and kayaking. We also spent some time at Mt. Airy Casino. But most of our time was spent at the property cooking, playing games, relaxing by the fire and celebrating my mom’s 60th birthday. This is a great place to enjoy a getaway from the normal hustle and bustle. We hope to rent again soon! Thank you Debbie!
The property was comfortable and as described with ample space for our group. Check in was seamless and communication with the property managers was excellent both before check-in and for the duration of our stay. They were prompt and courteous in responding to our questions, concerns and feedback. The offer of guest passes to the nearby clubhouse was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. Plenty of entertainment in the house between the various smart tvs, pool table, Foosball table & tennis table. Perfectly located in close proximity to the slopes, restaurants & shopping. We greatly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.
it is a perfect place for family gatherings, I stayed with my family and friends for July 4 th weekend. The property manager Mrs. Debbie was so kind and efficient to attend to all our needs. She was easily reachable. The property was well maintained. kitchen has sufficient utensils for cooking purposes. All rooms were well maintained and filled with clean linens and blankets. The area is safe for family gatherings, We enjoyed the community pool and beach. We also made a trip to Jim Thorp and enjoyed rafting. The basement had plenty of area and was perfect for family gatherings. We definitely looking forward to book next year,
This home was very clean. There were many towels and blankets available for our use. The host was quick to respond to my questions and provided the name of a manager who quickly responded to my texts while we were at the property. There was a minor issue that the property manager responded immediately to while we were there. The layout of the home was unusual - you had to walk through one bedroom to get to another bedroom. There were plenty of beds though and our large party slept comfortably. The home was a close drive to Camelback Mountain where we went snow tubing. The driveway was very large. We easily fit 5 cars. The host was very hospitable and kind. I offered feedback and he was receptive to my recommendations and to hearing my opinions.

Garbage / Propane Gas
Recently stayed at this house for a weekend getaway, and while the location and space were great, there were a few notable issues that detracted from our experience.
First, the garbage disposal system was quite inconvenient. We were required to drive a mile to a designated dumpster, only to find out upon arrival that a permit was needed to dispose of our trash. This was frustrating and added unnecessary stress to our trip.
Additionally, the grill was out of propane, which was unexpected. We’ve never encountered a situation where we needed to purchase our own propane during a rental. It would be helpful for future guests if this were stocked prior to arrival.
Overall, the house had potential, but these issues definitely need addressing for a smoother experience. I hope the host considers these improvements for future visitors.

Terrible experiace
This house was not ready for a rental to large group of people like our group. The septic tank could not handle so many people in the house. The owner and management did not take any corrective action to address the issue. We were UNABLE to use the bathrooms since any use of the water caused overflow water in the bathroom on the ground floor, causing mess not only in the bathroom but also in the living room area. VRBO, after investigating, issued a small refund of their fee to us. Owner and management on another hand, did nothing to resolve the issue also, did not feel like compensate us for terrible experience at their property.
The house was mostly as described, but our stay had a number of issues. First of all, when we checked in for our five-night stay, the microwave was broken. I immediately contacted the property manager, who said she'd have someone come out that day. No one came out that day. I called her again the next morning and she apologized and said someone would definitely come out that day. No one did. At that point I gave up--no one came out for the duration of our stay to address the broken microwave. I also mentioned to the property manager that a number of household items commonly provided in VRBO homes, such as garbage bags and dish soap, were absent. She promised to bring those over; she also never did. I later learned that while they never came over to address the issues with the house, they were driving past and taking pictures of our vehicles. We had 16 adult guests who came in 8 cars; after our stay ended, they are attempting to charge us for extra guests based on a picture of our 8 cars that they claim shows "about 15 cars" and a claim that the property is limited to 6 cars, which is not listed anywhere in the listing or other information provided. In addition, the floor was somewhat dirty when we checked in. The claimed "sofa bed" is actually a futon which has had a metal frame added to it that makes it impossible to unfold. Overall, while the house is large and location is good for Poconos activities, I would not recommend staying here.

HOSTILE HOST AND PROPERTY
I stayed 3 nights and 4 days for easter and this property by far has been the most terrible house I have ever rented. The images on the listing has been photo shopped to look way larger than actual size. I can deal with the smaller house if that was all. However, the house was so discustingly dirty that we could not even unpack the first night or let alone walk through without wearing shoes. The floor was so dirty that we had to sweep it down the first hour. I normally do a walk through to make sure there is no damage before we settle in. The pool table was dirty on the top and had pizza crust in one of the pockets from the previous stay. The pool table room is what you walk into and the room is not large enough to use the full size pool sticks. TV down stairs did not work. There was garbage still left behind the sofa on the main floor. There were what looked like very dirty brooms and vaccum in the closet. Down in the basement was the room with 2 single beds and a fooseball table. The fooseball table had half drunken chocolate milk pack which spilled and had dried up sticky milk residue all over. Had a lamp cover that was broken that I had to align to use. I found what looked like a punch hole on the ceiling as well as the wall. There were skid marks all on the wall as well as by door ways. Main floor deck had garbage on the deck, broken window screen panel laying around and supposedly beautiful deck gazebo had ripped gazebo cover from the sides to the ceiling that I could actually see the sky through. My 12 and 16 year old kids found a condom in one of the drawers from the room. Hall way bathroom on the second floor did not lock for privacy. All the bed rooms had dust collections on the window sills. There were what looked like dirty laundry on the bedroom closets floors and dirty comforter still left in the washer from the previous stay which stunk up the room. There were piles of lint from the dryer filter still left on the laundry room shelf. Laundry and dryer is located in one of the bedroom which is also connected to the bunk bed rooms so you have to walk through a bed room to get to another. There were what seemed like dirty linens left in the drawers overflowing when opened. The decorative deer head on the wall of the ping pong room had fallen and was still left behind a chair. No ping pong balls to use. The radiator in the ping pong room had a leakage which spilled over to the floor and had large wet area near the table.
