Clover Hill Farm has been focused on 5 star hosting in a country setting since its 2015 renovation. The property has rolling vistas with horses to watch from the spacious yard and meadows that surround the house during the day. Dark starry nights to enjoy at the end of the day. Enjoy the quiet of the farm and convience of day tripping on this unique property. First floor bedrooms: 1 queen, 1 full 1 bath w Shower/tub combo. 2nd floor bedrooms. 1 King (can be split to two XL twins ) I single, 1 single in hallway nook. We were looking for a relaxing spot for Family to gather outside of Richmond. Everything we needed was there, communication was good. We loved the history displayed throughout the home. The house has a sweet, softly aged feel, yet the kitchen and baths have been nicely updated. Sitting in the sunroom watching the horses was very relaxing. Ellen was extremely kind and helpful in arranging the last minute stay. The home is quite cozy and very well-equipped. This would be an ideal spot for a family reunion or retreat. We arrived in the dark and woke up to beautiful views of the barns, horses and fields. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to relax. There are lots of spots both indoors and out where people can either gather or seek some solitude. I would have given it 6 stars if I had been able! ##### Susan K. Every single one of us loved this property. The house was immaculate, well laid out, and it was very interesting to read about the history of the property. We enjoyed coffee on the front patio and drinks on the back patio watching the sunset. It was so peaceful and quiet and seeing the horses grazing was lovely. The kids all had so much fun running around the yard, building a fort in the bushes, and playing in the sunroom. We loved our time at this property. ##### Gayle E. It is a peaceful home in the country with several horses within view. The kitchen was well equipped as was the entire home. The bathrooms were fairly new with lots of hot water and great showers. It was a perfect gathering place for our family as we attended my moms memorial service in Bon Air. ##### Jennifer S. We had the privilege of staying at the James at clover hill while we were remodeling our kitchen! It has been such an amazing experience ! We have loved every minute! The dogs have enjoyed their jaunts on the beautiful property. Waking up to the horses practically in the back yard was such an extra special bonus! Springtime on the farm has been fantastic! Ellen was so responsive with any and all questions and really made this stay relaxing and so enjoyable! In fact, I will recommend to all my out of town guests for the future and would even love to come back to stay again! Even though I only live 30 min away! Lol.
