Beautiful House On Grass Runway With Fly-In/Fly-Out Access

Located a few miles from downtown Tecumseh, MI, the house is located on 10 acres of land, including a wooded area with walking trails. It is also part of the Merillat Airport (34G) community, a grass runway. Perfect for fly-in/fly-out guests, or if you just want to sit on the back balcony or by the fire pit and watch planes take off and land. The house is also 25 miles away from Ann Arbor and University of Michigan and 20 miles from MIS. It is also only minutes away from both Tecumseh and Adrian, both with beautiful shops and great restaurants! It is also a central location for many wedding venues and golf courses as well.

Great location

Stayed for 4 nights for a wedding at a venue 1/2 mile away. Plenty of room for family to stay overnight in 1 of the 5 bedrooms. They deck and yard were great spaces to spread out. The house was clean with comfortable furniture. Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Stellar location for families

Wonderful home for a group. The house was in great shape, kept very clean and even with decorations for the holiday. This is the largest property that I’ve booked for a larger get-together, and wasn’t remotely disappointed. Host was incredibly helpful and communicative before, during, and after our stay.

Great Home

We had a great stay at this property. We chose it because it was close to Michigan International Speedway, and we wanted to be able to attend the Nascar Cup Race over the weekend. It was a great location to stay. Will definitely book it again if we are back in that area for another race.

Absolutely recommend staying here. The house is beautiful, clean and full of everything you may need. Huge back yard and fire pit. The owner is very nice and responds quickly. We didn’t have any issues at all , he was very accommodating to party size . We will be coming back!

Fun football weekend

Wonderful and relaxing

The property was exactly as shown in the photos. The house was clean and very well stocked. The location is great; quiet area but close to several quaint towns. This is a great location if you are looking for peace and quiet and a place to unwind. It also has the added feature of being located on a small air field were we could watch small private planes and ultralights takeoff and land. The host was great and very responsive.

Great house and lovely atmosphere

A group of 6 gal pals stayed here for a girls weekend. The space is huge, lots of bathrooms. Games in the basement. We had such a nice time. We do wish there was a couch in the basement but there was plenty of seating. Never been to the area but we really enjoyed the downtown, Pentamere Winery, and Salsaria's.

Relaxing stay with family

This house was perfect for a quiet and relaxing week with the family…. We were close to Ann Arbor and were able to go see a U of M softball game and tour the campus. It’s a beautiful 45 minute drive to U of M. We spent most days fishing at Wamplers lake which was only 20 minutes away. The house has plenty of room for friends and family to visit and is set up perfectly for a family bbq with a large deck with a table and umbrella. Everything is there that you need to cook. Jerry’s Market was a great place to pick up what we need to grill. The game room downstairs has all the entertainment you could want for big and small kids…. Pool, shuffleboard, and air hockey. There’s a basketball hoop in the driveway and tons of yard for outdoor fun. We saw a few planes land and takeoff, which was exciting for everyone. The downstairs bedroom offers plenty of privacy for guests, with a separate entrance. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all. My 13 year old loved the log cabin themed bedroom…. We hope to be able to come back soon!

The house was very roomy and suited our needs. We were in town to celebrate our son’s wedding at a nearby venue and were able to use the house as a home base for us and some extended family. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant experience.
