The fish cabin is a great choice for someone traveling alone, a girl's weekend, or a retreat for couples! The cabin includes a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator for your convenience. It includes a fire pit too! It's close to a small fishing pond, so bring your fishing poles! All of the cabins at Mountain View Retreat include fabulous views of the Kiamichi Mountains and the Kiamichi Valley!

This is a wonderful cabin to run away to for a weekend. The setting is beautiful with a nice walking trail and such peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed coffee each morning on the porch and just had a great time. Accommodations were perfect for the two of us (and one little dog). Thanks for a great stay!!Megan

Quiet Escape with Breathtaking Scenery
We stayed in this cozy studio cabin over the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views all around. The covered porch was perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. We were on the go with friends during our stay, but we’re already looking forward to coming back and relaxing more — especially around the firepit while taking in those stunning views.

The check in process was super easy, and the manager provided directions before we left which were great! My pups and I really enjoyed the stay! Great lodging for checking out the Talimena Byway which is the definitely worth the drive!

This property and the cabin was awesome. Missy was a great host, she gave me very specific and accurate directions on how to find the cabin as google maps will not take you there. Everything about the trip was great. Its a great place to get away and just enjoy God's creation.

2 Night Stay at Fish Cabin
The cabin has an awesome view of the mountains in the area, as well as the sunrise first thing in the morning. There is a lot to do in the area, we were only able to do the scenic drive and go to Robbers Cave. We will definitely be back to explore more of the area.

What a great experience! I was traveling for work in Talihina and stayed here and it was an excellent experience. Was so quiet and peaceful just to relax after work with nothing but nature to listen to. The cabin was very clean and relaxing. I have already decided I will be bringing my wife back here for a relaxing getaway very soon.
