Nothing was too much trouble....asked to put some items in a fridge overnight no problem. V accomodating. Lovemy breakfast though i woukd say cleanliness and decor at pub needs improving.....compared to the hotel which was new fresh and felt new compated to old tired decor in pub. We stayed at The Churchill and really enjoyed our time here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-presented, making it easy for our family to relax after a day exploring the Cotswolds. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. It’s in a good location for visiting nearby attractions, and parking was easy and convenient. We also appreciated that it was quiet at night, so everyone got a good rest. Overall, it’s a great value stay for families looking for comfort without breaking the budget. The hotel seems fairly newly built and is clean and comfortable. Pros: the bed had plugs and USB sockets right next to it (I hate hotels that make you plug your phone in on the other side of the room). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave us extra towels as soon as we asked. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, which honestly is all you really need. Cons: about the only downside was that the shower head is one of those that is fixed to the wall (or actually the ceiling, it being one of those "rainforest" shower heads that are currently so popular). I personally much prefer a shower on the end of a hose so that you can properly wash all of yourself, not just your hair! We didn't try the adjacent pub for our evening meal but it looked like a decent place to eat. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—especially the beds. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, with free parking and a great pub and grill next door. The property was clean and easy to access from the road. Pub next door was good and accessible. Staff was nice. On the negative side, the bathtub drained poorly, which meant that by the end of the shower you were standing calf-deep in water. No amenities to speak of, meaning that there wasn't even hair conditioner. Bottom line - this is not a glamorous experience, nor did I expect it to be for what we paid. It was clean, and it worked for one quick night.
