I checked in Thursday to Monday and the room was never cleaned even after asking the front test to clean the room. No ice machine on my floor which was on the 1st, had to go to 3rd floor for ice. Carpet was dirty n worn and old. It was hard finding staff at the desk. The hotel was dimly lit and felt damp. The inside swimming pool was never available

We checked into our room on July 1 and immediately discovered that the pool and gym were unavailable due to maintenance. Before booking, I had checked the hotel’s amenities and both appeared to be open, so this was very disappointing and should have been communicated before arrival. The first morning, breakfast was actually good. We left our room around 9:00 a.m. and returned around 9:30 p.m. to find that the room had not been serviced at all. The bed was not made, no fresh towels were provided, and nothing had been cleaned. The next morning, breakfast was terrible. The pancakes tasted sour, and the food overall was inedible, so we threw it away. We left the room around 8:45 a.m. and returned that evening to find the room had still not been touched. I spoke with the front desk, and the employee apologized and said housekeeping would clean it the next day. She also suggested that we may have had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, but we absolutely did not, as we wanted the room cleaned. The following morning, breakfast was once again disgusting. We returned to our room around 11:30 a.m. and stayed until about 1:00 p.m. before leaving, thinking housekeeping would clean the room while we were gone. We returned around 10:30 p.m. and, once again, the room had not been cleaned. I went downstairs and found another couple in the lobby who had already been waiting about 30 minutes for assistance. Holiday Inns differ from location to location. I’ve been to 5 star Holiday Inns on the beach to others in Orlando amongst many others. This Sweetwater, TN location is conveniently located to my parents house so I keep coming back. The front desk staff is always helpful. I usually absolutely love all Holiday Inn beds. This is the one location that isn’t as comfortable to me as all the others. They are acceptable not terrible. This location really needs a good carpet cleaning throughout. The hallways stink and there’s stains from many spills. I’m guessing that’s what the stink is about.

Room, lobby and breakfast area was very clean. The furniture could use some updating but it just looked like it had been there a while but chairs in dining room still sat good. Breakfast options was very good. Coffee machine is new and people were having a hard time figuring out how to use it but it made great coffe regular, decaf or hot water. All staff were very friendly

Room was super clean, i always check natresses since i have a bad experience with bed bugs that being said the matresses were well protected, clean and looked new. Staff was amazing and helpful, they knew we had a long trip ahead and let us take snacks even offer to bring more out if we did not have enough available to us. Check out was fast, it was a perfect rest stop for two long days of driving, we are very satisfied with the hotel def. Will add it as one of our stops for the next trip. Breakfast was good :) lots of choices and included for the price we would have paid at a different hotel without breakfast.
