Clean, simple, modern design. Fresh & modern kitchen and bathrooms, beautifully historic front porch - all the nostalgia without the doilies! Ping pong in the basement and Euchre on the front porch. Solo stove and a picnic table in the backyard. Charcoal Weber Grill. Take a short 2-block walk down tree-lined streets to all that Suttons Bay has to offer. Two blocks off of the TART trail. Also centrally located in Leelanau County. It's a short bicycle or car trip to some of northern Michigan’s finest restaurants & wineries, fall color, boating, festivals, hiking & biking trails, shopping, and historic sites, and only 13 miles to Traverse City. BOOKING TIPS: Memorial Day through Labor Day there is a 1 week minimum. Host originally stated that had never happened before, but admitted the second night that it happened before and an electrician said it was because of temperature differences, humidity, dust and mosquitoes. No one slept well for two nights and the safety issue knowing the smoke alarms were not functioning properly was not very calming. The Host did not appear to be too concerned about any of these issues. I have documentation of all correspondence related to this issue. ##### Donald C. The location was great for us as we were half way between Traverse city and Northport in Sutton’s place. We usually enjoy being on the water but for this time of year it was perfect. My fault was thinking there was a fireplace for the cold days we were there for. Would have loved a fireplace but again I did not read the ad carefully enough but the cottage did stay nice and warm!!!!! This place would have been perfect for larger families! ##### Rae F. Was a couple blocks from town and an easy walk for shopping, visits to the water and restaurants. Had a great kitchen to cook in. A dining area for meals and games. A screened in porch for checking out the. neighborhood scene. And enough bedrooms and bathrooms for each couple to have their own space. Would definitely stay again ##### Sara F.
