Charming Vintage Beach Cottage on East Main Street – Your Perfect Coastal Getaway! Welcome to our cozy vintage beach cottage, nestled on East Main Street just steps away from the sandy shores of Sunset Beach. Whether you prefer a leisurely walk (just 3 minutes), a brisk run (less than 2 minutes), or a relaxed stroll, you'll find yourself with your toes in the sand in no time. Our cottage boasts an inviting open floor plan, where the kitchen seamlessly flows into the living area, making it the ideal gathering spot for your family and friends before and after your beach adventures. You can relax on the spacious sectional or gather around the farmhouse table for meals and games. With four bedrooms, including two master suites, and two additional bedrooms sharing a third bath, our home is perfect for two young families or for bringing along grandparents. Sleeping arrangements include three queen beds and a bunk room with a twin over full bunk bed. LINENS ARE NOT PROVIDED, but we will be happy to supply a list of linen rentals in the area. Each bedroom is equipped with its own TV for added convenience. The cottage features delightful coastal colors and décor throughout, creating a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. All of our bathrooms have been completely renovated with modern vanities and beautiful tile work. Enjoy the spacious front porch that spans the entire length of the house, offering a perfect spot to listen to the soothing waves or people watch year-round. The back porch provides a lovely view of the canal, adding to the charm of our coastal retreat. And yes, we're pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry family members along for the fun! For those looking to explore the area, our cottage is conveniently located on Main and 6th, just a short walk from shops and the delicious Sunset Slush in the heart of the island. To the east, you can try your hand at surf fishing while gazing out at Ocean Isle Beach. Venture west beyond 40th Street, and you'll find yourself on the pristine and undeveloped Bird Island Preserve, home to the beloved Kindred Spirit mailbox, cherished by generations of Sunset Beach residents and visitors. If you're in the mood for more adventure, the mainland offers an abundance of golf courses, restaurants, grocery stores, and opportunities for kayak tours and rentals. You can even experience a thrilling Zipline Swamp Tour! Head down to Calabash for riverfront dining, additional shops, or venture further to Little River and beyond. Clean home with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils and the all-important wine opener. Has hot pads to get things from oven, but plan to bring your own kitchen towels if you prefer that to paper towels. Dish soap was provided as well as hand soap and bath mats for the bathrooms. You will need hand towels and bath towels along with bed linens. If you fill all the bedrooms, the living space may get a LITTLE tight, but you're supposed to be at the beach anyway! Wi-Fi worked just fine. The couch is comfy. And the dining set seats 6-8\. If you need a pack-and-play it would really only fit (easily) into the bunk room or the other front bedroom. Any minor criticisms I saw in other reviews didn't apply to us. You can tell the owner cares about suggestions. Want to go back already! ##### Stacie K. Rentals can have very limited pots, pans, and cooking utensils, but not the Aloha house! We cooked and had everything we needed! The beds were very comfy! The house was very clean even though it is a pet friendly rental. The canal view out back after sunset was so peaceful. The hallway bathroom, was a little small, but with three baths, it was not a problem! I loved the outdoor shower! We were also very surprised there were beach chairs for our use! I’ve been coming to Sunset beach for over 40 years and this was only the second time I had an opportunity to be on the second row from the beach! Such a short walk, it was easy to go back if your needed something. This was a girlfriend weekend and it was fabulous! We were blessed with beautiful weather! Perfect location, 2nd row at our favorite beach in NC! Directly across from a beach access! A new fenced in area is perfect if you are bringing a four-legged friend! One of the only homes in the island with a fence. Needed a house all bedrooms on 1 level…so Aloha was perfect. Love the living room/kitchen all together. The bathrooms are so nice. Love the fenced in yard. (Except for the HUGE rat snake) The only complaint I have is the 3 queen beds need replacing. Would definitely stay here again if the beds are replaced. ##### Linda R. No cable but streaming which was also spotty. Brought linens and towels with us. But no paper towel and or trash bags. Brought 2 rolls toilet paper or would have had to buy that also. Businesses in area very friendly. Better golf courses open to public than we experienced in Florida ##### Terri R.
