Lots of walking trails and Sunset Beach located just across the waterway. Great restaurants nearby in Calabash, The Grape Vine, The Seafood Hut, Tony's Pizza, and the Bagel Dock among our favorites. Also visit Lowe's Supermarket for "sip and shop". Apartment owners had addressed previous comments and now supply a sharp knife, a corkscrew, and a hot plate for cooking. We were there during peak season, and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location, but also the nearby beach attractions. Upon entering the unit after 4 pm, the unit was not serviced. Texted the property manger and let him know the status of the unit. Had to return an hour later. Did receive a credit for the inconvenience. The online listing had a pool listed. I asked the property manger if we had access to the pool. The response was to go to the activity center for access to the pool. Went to the activity center and they would not give us pool access since we rented through Vrbo and not one of their agencies.
