Bitterroot Road is a beautifully built, luxuriously appointed home in the Bitterroot subdivision in Sun Valley. This 5500 square foot quality home is nestled along the water of Trail Creek halfway between Ketchum and Sun Valley. You are minutes away from downtown Ketchum, Bald mountain, Dollar mountain and the Sun Valley village. You can walk to town and to Sun Valley. Enjoy soaking in the hot tub after skiing with a glass of wine and listening to the soothing sounds of Trail Creek. The home features 4 bedrooms, (3 of which overlook the creek ) all with their own private en-suite bathroom and a home office with sofa sleeper. The home office has its own full bath, so the house has, in essence 5 private bedrooms. There is an outdoor hot tub that overlooks trail creek. The house is beautifully furnished in all rooms with high quality, super comfortable bedding and pillows. The main living room features a large wood burning fireplace, comfortable furniture, tv and a dining table that can seat 8-10 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to create a gourmet family dinner or a midnight snack. We loved the house and would definitely stay again. There is a “cottage” behind the main house, which we did not need/use. The reservation process was quick and seamless. Communication before our arrival was was welcoming and gave us all of the information we needed. Grady graciously accommodated our schedule by allowing us to check in a few hours early. The house was exactly as described in the listing with a gorgeous location right on the creek and beautiful spaces and furnishings inside and out. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our time there with plenty of dishes, towels, extra pillows & blankets, books, magazines and games. The hot tub and pool table were both very popular. Grady and the owners were both very friendly and responsive whenever we had a question or request of them. They made us feel welcomed and were prompt to follow up every time we reached out to them. The same was true of the property manager, Trent. Overall, this is a beautiful property with excellent management and owners who will make you feel like a valued guest while you are there. We have stayed in a wide variety of vacation rental properties in a lot of places through the years and this was possibly the most seamless experience we’ve had with one. This home was one of our favorite VRBO properties! The check in process was great. We felt so comfortable in the home and had a lot of space to move around. The kids loved the pool table, dart board, and backgammon table. The creek behind the house was so pleasant. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals in. It was great! It’s a beautiful house that is beautifully furnished, great layout, well equipped, etc. The location is unbeatable. Easy walking to both Ketchum and the Lodge. Right between downtown and Sun Valley Lodge. In any season this house would be the ideal place to be. We were all able to stay in the same place yet distance ourselves enough during the pandemic. Seeing the deer and listening to the creek was so soothing. The check out process was challenging. We had agreed on an extra night which was paid for and the cleaning crew came several hours early in the morning. The miscommunication was between the manager and owner but the impact deeply impacted our last night.
